S16.E6: Peace, Interrupted

Kelli's "Peace Brunch" erupts into chaos when Angela questions Brit about fraud accusations, following Kenya's event. The group begins picking up the pieces after Kenya's event, and the brunch leads to further confrontations between the ladies.

Not shaming but Brit lopped off 1/2 her nose. Here she is in a Soulja Boy video pre-nose job. I would say the drastic surgery and lack of clear sinus passages are causing her nasal twang. It’s pretty awful to listen to. I also think her old nose was cute.

If Brit was indeed a teenager in those photos, that is twirling to hell.

I made it all the way to whatever that was at Shamea's house. I see we have a new "group" mother to show up in bad wigs and ramble off cliches in an attempt to look wise. Hard pass. 

Perhaps it will pick back up when Phaedra arrives. But for now, they are boring, Shamea is too rich to be so tacky, Britt either needs to blow her nose or get it fixed and Kelly looks like a yard gnome. 

I actually like Kelly, I just can't stand her in those sized 5T Baby Gap outfits. 

Pouring one out for Season 6 and the best reunion of any of these franchises. No one will ever top "peddling through sperm banks" and "I said what I said" 😂Although the season 10 reunion was also a banger. 

There is no way, not even with a script, these ladies can bring it like old school Atlanta. I feel like the housewives entire legacy was built on the backs of RHOA. But alas, they cannot recapture that magic.

Drew is very delusional thinking Dennis will take her to the musical heights that will pay her children's college tuition.  I still haven't heard any of her music.  Just sayin.

Shamea has gotten much wider in the hips than I remember.  I guess it's from her last pregnancy.  

Drew was attempting to claim that royalties DENNIS made from producing Drew's music would pay for Pilar's (the daughter or Dennis and Porsha) college tuitions.

That is why Shamea rolled her eyes at it being a ridiculous attempt to make it appear as if it was a very positive thing for Porsha instead of an attempt to exploit the situation.

No shade to Shamea because she actually seems to have a very good voice - even when not auto-tuned.

But is there actually a market for this kind of music which seems incredibly boring. Low key vocals - not particularly emotionally moving lyrics - and the music itself seems generic and like elevator music.

What is this genre - is it considered "easy listening" which is a category I despise in all genres.

I hate this season so far. They should have scrapped the beginning of the season once Kenya pulled that revenge porn stunt and started over. 
Brits nasal sounding voice is hard to listen to. 
Why does Shamea want to sing? She has it going on as a housewife. Her voice is decent but as mentioned, is there a market? 
Drew is cringey to watch. She always makes more of her singing career than what it is. Her and Ralph are not enjoyable tv.

I agree it is boring, even with the Kenya incident. 

Both Brit and Angela have nasal voices, quite possibly because of nose jobs they didn’t need.

I honestly haven't noticed Brit's voice, but Angela to me is the one who sounds nasal.

I was at a Hawks game this past Sunday and Shamea was there doing fan-interactions between timeouts. I've been to a bunch of games, but this was the first time I noticed her there.

I wouldn’t call it R&B as I think of that genre as being much more dynamic and not background easy listening. 

Maybe it’s just incredibly mediocre music because it seems so bloodless and generic

This season is just not working for me. I don’t feel personally connected to any of these women.

We have left the reality TV era to enter the carefully curated social media reality TV image era. It is so boring. There doesn’t seem to be a single new cast member (which is most of them) who are actually being authentic, with the possible exception of Angela.

I actually heard Shamea's song on the radio today!  I have SiriusXM and it was played on Heart & Soul channel.  I can't believe how excited I was. 😆

I was surprised at how hard everyone seemed to be riding for Kenya. I'm not particularly fond of Brit and I do like Kenya, but come on now she took things to far!
