It’s the world’s largest indoor diving pool. The ancient city aesthetic would also be attractive.

Melinda & Erika are coming along fine.

Han & Holden get a check.  They pass.  They're in third place.

Showing a lot of Melinda & Erika here, but not enough of the other teams there.

Brett & Mark get a check and get cleared.

Nick & Mike are struggling.

Melinda & Erika get a check.  They pass!  They're in fifth!

Pops & Jeff take a try.  But they're missing something.  They have to remake a long cupcake that got messed up on the way to get it checked.

Oh, no, Jeff!  I hope they'll get a chance to catch up, but between this and the backstory at the beginning, I'm concerned about them.

Pops & Jeff are in last at the task and are in trouble.

Roadblock: Who's ready to ride a wave?

The teams have to ride on motorized surfboards, traveling from one buoy to a second and then to a third, mastering the right posture to have.

Josiah has to take the task.

Carson & Jack are going to the Pit Stop now.

Han and Jonathan are doing the Roadblock.

Alyssa & Josiah learned to surf . . . with no success.

At least there's a demo here.

Wow!  Han's already picking it up!

Weird observation... Phil seems superimposed in almost every scene.  I know he's not, but it looks like that.  Also some shots of the racers, too.  Different filming technique?

Jeff's getting a lesson now.  He's keeping his shoes on, which might not be smart when you're surfing.

Josiah isn't happy to see the rear teams.

Josiah finally finishes!  He and Alyssa are in third place.

Erika falls in training, as does Jeff.  Nick is doing all right.  Oops.  He fell.

Mark falls again.  So does Jonathan.

Mark tries the real thing . . . and fails just before the last buoy.

Jonathan does the same.

Mark tries again . . . and passes!  He and Brett are in fourth place!

Except for Jonathan, I really like all of the remaining Racers.  So this is getting tough…

But to his credit, Jonathan was surprisingly subdued and quiet tonight.  It’s like someone talked to him about how badly he was coming across.  I doubt he realized it on his own.
