NeenerNeener April 1 Share April 1 Can Em just take off for 3 weeks to take that job the rich guy offered her? Since this is tv, anything is possible, I guess. That's assuming this gets renewed for season two, which is still up in the air right now. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152699-s01e19-let-go/#findComment-8622691

This show was advertised as "action" but they only do one rescue per episode. If we're not going to get any action, we need a lot better character building. Right now, I think we know the most about Sonny's daughter, lol. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152699-s01e19-let-go/#findComment-8622815
Crashcourse April 1 Share April 1 I'm glad that Will decided to go home to Australia. He needs to get his head together. I wonder if he's coming back if the show is renewed. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152699-s01e19-let-go/#findComment-8622838

And if he's all of those horrible things that Julie said he is, why did she want to marry him? 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152699-s01e19-let-go/#findComment-8622844
blackwing April 7 Share April 7 Em clearly wants to get back together with Will, I thought he wanted that too, but he told her the one time that things never go well for them and stopped her. Since then, he's been really cold and standoffish to her. He gets suspended from his job, she wants to be there for him, he doesn't care. He goes to Rainbow's graduation party even though he doesn't really want to, sits around and sulks by himself. She gets an offer for a great high-paying gig for three weeks, secures a spot for him which would benefit him financially as well as tiding him over until his suspension is over, he doesn't care. Brushes her off again, and then does an Irish (Australian?) goodbye and drives off. I am tired of his "issues". Just like Sonny and his Zion issues that dominated the show for the first half of the season, they have dragged on the Will-has-personality-issues storyline way too long. Julie and he were a terrible mismatch from the start. It seems that she only liked what was in his pants (as he said to Laka in one episode when he asked Will what Julie saw in him). Because she pretty much disliked every other aspect of him. And she is taking glee in the fact that her dad sued him and not even offering to talk to her dad to get him to back off. I hope this is the last we see of Julie. I'm glad they got rid of Vince, this character added very little to the show. If they want to have a rival lifeguard on the show to cause some tension, why not use Kenji more? I will miss this show if it gets cancelled. However, I will admit that it is not a very good show. The writing is terrible, the character development is weak, the rescues are limited and most of the time not all that exciting. The only good things this show has going for it are the scenery (especially the underwater camera work) and the pretty people. If it comes back, I hope they get a new showrunner. Misslindsey April 8 Share April 8 I was glad that Julie went off on Will. I thought he deserved it, since he kept waffling on who he wanted to be with for way too many episodes. Julie may have been obsessed with image and whatever and not a match for Will, but the character was not really fleshed out and really did not have much screen time to be more than a one dimensional cliche. I was hoping that they would write her more of nice person just wrong for Will, but the AI writer went the stereotypical route. I just wanted to see why Julie and Will got together in the first place, because he must have liked her at some point and she him. If there is another season and Ocean has graduated can we see less of her? I did not really have much of an opinion on Vince, because I knew he was going to be a plot point. Again, the writers went the the cliche route with that storyline too. I do like Hina, Kainalu, and Laka. Sonny is hit or miss, mainly because I got tired or the Zion story and I got tired of Ocean acting out stuff too. Em bores me and Will does too. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152699-s01e19-let-go/#findComment-8629325
