Nick & Mike deliver their pagejan, but it falls apart, leaving room for Han & Holden to pass them up.  Holden delivers his in one piece, and then Han.  They get their clue in fourth.

Nick & Mike put their pagejan back together and are cleared in fifth.

Brett & Mark get cleared at Penjor and are off to deliver.

Pops & Jeff and Melinda & Erika clear their Penjor checks and are off to deliver.  They followed Brett & Mark to not get lost.

Bernie & Carrigain are left alone to work.

Nick & Mike are looking for the Pit Stop, as are Han & Holden.

Alyssa & Josiah deliver their penjor and are in sixth heading to the Pit Stop.  Brett & Mark deliver theirs in seventh.

I call it AMAZING as in The AMAZING Race.  The is too much artificial gimmicks and not enough appreciating the beauty of the world on TAR these days.  That ATV ride was the highlight of the episode for me.  So much beauty.  So much joy from the Racers experiencing it.

I don't know that the local was incompetent.  Maybe it was the team not making themselves clear enough and/or misunderstanding what the local was trying to tell them. 

Also the teams that ran around the poesy made a turn when they should have gone straight.  They all followed each other, not some local's directions it seems.  It was the blind leading the blind.  

Meanwhile the mother/daughter read and followed the clue's instructions.

And I honestly have no idea who was who.  To me there was loud, screaming one and quiet one.  Just glad they got eliminated because the screamer was really annoying.

The loud, screaming one was Bernie.  The quiet one was Carrigain.  In confessionals, they're typically made to sit in the order in which their names appear on the screen.

Ah, but that's where Jonathan & Ana were dumb.  If they were trying to get the stronger teams hindered and make things easier for the weaker teams, then why give arguably the weakest team left more work than less?  Bernie & Carrigain were more or less circling the drain, anyway.  They didn't need the extra blow.

I don't think that was their original intention.  They had all the teams assigned weights, and they did it by giving the stronger teams the heavier weights.  But then they realized they didn't give themselves a weight - they had a 25lb sticker left, so they just swapped it with Bernie/Carrigan who had a 15 sticker.  I think they just grabbed the first 15 lb sticker they saw.  They later said they should have given a stronger team that last sticker.

In other words, they had time to think things over and still didn't think it through properly.  I can see damn well why the other teams were dunking on their choices at the Pit Stop.

Eh, it's a race.  They needed to make decisions quickly.  They had a strategy, and kept to it for the most part.  Doesn't matter what they did, other teams would still be griping about their choices.  They had good reason to target the other teams who were placing in the top 3 and/or strong teams.  That made sense.  But people still griped about it.

That's how all these things should work in general.

Like if there has to be a U-turn (ick!) only a team that finished the detour should be able to U-turn another team.
