KeithJ March 13 Share March 13 Quote The chefs battle it out to make the best barbecue feast; in the elimination round, two chefs go head-to-head and make an elevated dish using cauliflower. Airs: Thu, Mar 13, 2025 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152370-s04e05-grills-gone-wild/

milkyaqua March 14 Share March 14 I do agree with Ramsey that Richard's strategy in the cook-off is going to comb back and bite him in the rear. And what was with the chicken thigh chef not using the bigger grill? 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152370-s04e05-grills-gone-wild/#findComment-8607103

Why use these little grills (other than to just promote them) when there were much larger grills they could have used in the kitchen? mlp March 14 Share March 14 Beatrice is rather impressive for being just a teenager. She seems to know what she's doing but her bubbly, exuberant personality is going to make me nuts before this is over. She'll probably win. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152370-s04e05-grills-gone-wild/#findComment-8607281

Her youthful bubbliness would contrast well against Brandon's smooth professionalism. You could tell the difference in cooking technique between Brandon and the other cook-off contestant just by the judges' reactions: Richard and Nyesha praised the other chef's cauliflower steak as a really good vegetarian entrée, but said Brandon's dish was just a really good entrée, period. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152370-s04e05-grills-gone-wild/#findComment-8607374
Ancaster March 14 Share March 14 It would have been nice if they'd taken the opportunity to educate some of the contestants and viewers by calling the small grills hibachis. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152370-s04e05-grills-gone-wild/#findComment-8607383
MyMaui March 15 Share March 15 I seriously hope Richard's strategy bites him in the rear. Sorry I just do not like him at all - has to be from the Top Chef days. I hope he never ever wins on this show at all. Can't wait for next week when someone from his team leaves lol. 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152370-s04e05-grills-gone-wild/#findComment-8607712
blackwing March 17 Share March 17 I agree with Gordon that at some point, Richard's strategy is going to bite him. I don't like it, it's particularly unfair to the contestants on his team. Until it gets to the individual phase of the competition, why bother trying in the platform cooks? Even if your dish is the worst, Richard isn't going to send you into the elimination cook. I liked Cathy, but I liked Brandon more. Both of them turned out excellent dishes. There's too much randomness at that point, we could easily have lost Brandon due to chance. I'm wondering if Blais will keep sending Brandon and Austin in. Completely unfair to them. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152370-s04e05-grills-gone-wild/#findComment-8609754
GHScorpiosRule March 17 Share March 17 (edited) Cathy has always been the weak link. It was her time to go. And Blais is just an ass. Edited March 17 by GHScorpiosRule 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/152370-s04e05-grills-gone-wild/#findComment-8609761
