Hope it's cool that I combined the three episodes that dropped Feb 21st in one topic. It's so hard to remember what happened in each.

Anyhoo, David's been looking for an out since the pods. I hate how he's shaming Lauren for daring to have a life before this "experiment". Not sure what the deal is with his sister but dude's nowhere near interested in getting married. Telling her that he's been thinking a lot about Molly was such a bitch move. If you want to end things, man up & just do it. Stop this water torture.

Something fishy with Ben's story about the crying Tiktok chick. He & Sara were one of my fave couples too so ugh.

Taylor & Daniel introducing their parents was pretty cute. I have good feeling about them making to the end.

Monica's sister is a jealous bitch. I like Monica & goofy ass Joey together.

Devin seems a little immature. Curious if he balks at the pre-nup (which is a very smart idea for Virginia, IMHO)

This season feels like it's dragging, there's just way too much talking. Really hoped we'd get to see the big event with all the pod people returning already. Bring on the fireworks.

At the end of Ep. 6, I really thought Taylor was going to call the whole thing off (if I recall, the "coming up" scenes didn't show Taylor & Daniel), so color me surprised that they appear to be one of the stronger couples.

I thought it was weird how David was determined to find out if any couples had had sex in Honduras.

I like Monica.  I liked Monica & Joey together until his OCD/clean/neat freak tendencies came out.  I honestly don't think he could handle being with someone who has a "sock bin," and I thought he was going to lose it when she dumped his clean clothes out of the laundry basket onto the floor.

I loved Ben & Sara together, but the TikTok women's story was a little strange.  They're still my pick for the couple that I hope actually go the distance.

My guesses (subject to change 🙂) without any spoilers:

*  David & Lauren will not get married -- things are already too difficult and these are the early days when presumably everyone's still kind of on their best behavior.

*  Joey & Monica will not get married -- they just don't seem like a good match and I think he knows it and her sister knows it.

*  Devin & Virginia -- based on what we've seen so far, I think they will get married, but I'm not sure they're the greatest match.  She seemed worried about his debt and love of buying sneakers.

*  Taylor & Daniel -- I think they will get married.  Daniel's parents were my favorite of all the "meet the friends and families" scenes we saw.  I was surprised Taylor's mom came around so quickly; her level of disappointment at not having been personally involved in the engagement was... telling.  I think Daniel was smart to ask for their permission; that might have been what won her over.

*  Ben & Sara -- this is the question mark couple for me.  I like them the best of all the couples, so I'm pulling for them.  If I had to guess now, I think they won't get married (we haven't seen either of them meet the families yet, if I'm remembering things right, and the editors seem to have made a point of bringing up the possible Catholic/religious/faith differences at multiple points).  But, I hope I'm wrong.

I think David is pissed that Lauren hooked up with a guy right before she came on the show but hasn't had sex with him yet. He's punishing her for having casual sex. If I were Lauren I would head for the hills immediately. He's never going to trust you over his friends and sister. I want to know what the deal is with his sister. I don't recall what he has said about her, but obviously, her opinion means everything to him.

Monica's sister is super jealous. I don't think Joey is as disingenuous and she thinks he is, but I do think his OCD and her dump all the laundry in a pile will cause conflict. Their housekeeping styles are worlds apart.

Social media really does a number on couples -- the crying video, the Instagram following. I'm so glad I dated in the stone age where we only had landlines. All this weird posting/following/passive aggressive/cryptic online bullshit is ridiculous.

Joey and Monica are my favorite couple because they are both genuinely funny and seem to really enjoy each other's company. I think they can get beyond their differences in housekeeping but Monica needs to keep her jealous sister far, far away.

I am surprised at how much Taylor and Daniel look like a real couple - that's something I never thought would happen but they and their families really all seem to be on the same page. And Daniel seems to be the nicest, most grounded, of all the people on the show.

Lauren and Dave need to split up immediately (although, at this point, I guess they're contractually obligated to show up at a wedding venue in the proper attire) -this one is never going to last.

Ben and Sara seemed to click but wasn't he the guy who didn't vote or am I getting him confused with another generic male contestant? She seems to be very politically involved and I can't see her being happy with someone who's apathetic.

Devin and Virginia are not going to get married - their entire conversation consists of one of them saying something bland and the other person saying, "Oh, I love that." The exception to this is when Virginia says "prenup" and then Devin and his entire family look horrified.

David is looking for every reason to break off this engagement.  But he really wants it to be Lauren's fault so he can not be blamed for it.  He wants to meet up with Molly.  He was also obsessed with who had sex.  Very odd.

The other couples all have a chance of making it.  But they will have their problems.  Monica's sister is jealous and behaving terribly.  She really does not want her sister to get married and be happy.

I am waiting for the big meet up with all the others from the pods.  That should be interesting.

I felt they took forever for the couples to meet at the retreat.  Then they rushed them all back home.  I would have liked to see more of them interacting together.

Its cool. Especially there is barely anything to talk about here.

That sister was something else though.

David was odd with sex talk but the ex thing is not just something he or many ignore. The guy was hanging with her enough that a lot of people know about him but he's also still reaching out.

Being involved with anyone that close to filming would give me pause.
