jah1986 February 13 Share February 13 Nice first episode of the final six (?). I did not think Kim was going to kill her grandfather. Does Kreese even know where to start to be a decent human being? I didn't mind not too much emphasis on the kids. I wonder if Kim will find Yoon before the tournament starts again. And just where will Daniel and Johnny choose to have the tournament completed at? I have no memory of Anoush's girlfriend/wife, but I liked her. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151873-s06e11-into-the-fire/#findComment-8580154

I think it was another Star Wars homage, Luke finding a Vadar in the cave, but was shocked that she did have to end grandfather to be worthy of running the dojang. The detectives on all those K-Dramas would figure out the murder. I guess legally Kreese still held the rights to "Cobra Kai". He made it clear he would take them back into the Sekai Tekai before grandfather Kim said so also. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151873-s06e11-into-the-fire/#findComment-8580222
Kel Varnsen February 15 Share February 15 This show has gotten so crazy that it's probably good they aren't trying to draw it out much more. Like how did Kreese get a knife that killed a kid back? And why is Robby surprised that he doesn't have a ton of options after high school. He is a teen with a record and we never got much indication that he was into school. Plus it's not like trade school is a bad thing. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151873-s06e11-into-the-fire/#findComment-8581315

With the guidance counselor saying you are not coming out of the Valley as a professional fighter I thought that athlete was the pre scene plan Robby put forward. If anything, his surprise being that he had two born again parents with their new partners with him. And then the model for the vocational training brochures could have been a post All- Valley loss Johnny Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151873-s06e11-into-the-fire/#findComment-8581329
bettername2come February 15 Share February 15 I love Louie being all offended when Anoush says Daniel was the one who flipped Kwon over. "What is he a pancake?" It's not a good sign when you lose the moral high ground to Louie. I like how he was tracking that Daniel wasn't all right. Daniel and Johnny arguing about the Sekai Tekai was a good example of how far they've come since season 1. Just Johnny calling him Daniel instead of LaRusso and saying please was a lot. And his complaining to Carmen after was so much more calm and mature. And then later when he bring Silver, "Do you trust me?" "That's a loaded question, but yeah." It was nice seeing them side by side in that confrontation. Aw, Johnny trusts him too. Kinda nice to see the real daughter and the fictional daughter interacting. It seemed weird Anthony wasn't at the dealership party. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151873-s06e11-into-the-fire/#findComment-8581331
tennisgurl Wednesday at 04:04 PM Share Wednesday at 04:04 PM Of course we have to keep the tournament going, what would we do if we couldn't do extremely dramatic karate tournaments! I didn't see Kim killing her grandfather, but I suppose that was the only way she was ever going to be allowed to be in charge. I am so glad that Daniel and Johnny didn't let Silver get between them again, even when Johnny was clearly unhappy with Daniels attitude towards the tournament he tried to actually talk to him like an adult and they managed to actually avoid getting super offended by each other or escalating. Virtual Wednesday at 06:40 PM Share Wednesday at 06:40 PM I think the show established ever since Season 2 that Kreese didn't know how to be a good person if he tried. His conversation with Johnny at the shelter in S2, his conversations with the therapist in jail in S5 and his talk with Kim in this episode all indicate that. I think we all knew that Daniel wasn't going to stay out of the karate game for good. Especially when Johnny and his kids wanted him to continue.
