That being said, I think assigning a deity credit of blame is misplaced.  The guys on the field determined the outcome.

Yeah, I'd be pretty pissed if I busted my ass to win and my coach got out there and said first and foremost credit to some guy in the sky.  A lot of them do it and it annoys me every time.

I'm an atheist, but it was clear to me from an early age that the only two ways in this world that anything supernatural actually lined up with how this world works is the "god made everything, then god left" theory and polytheism, in which each god has their own agenda, interests and favorites.

Are there any real losers tonight? Mahomes is still on the GOAT short list, Andy is still one of the greatest head coaches, and Travis has a good future even if tonight was his last game. I’d say Saquon lost because he was hampered throughout the game, but he still gets a ring and he can crap on Giants management for not paying him what he was worth.

Great year.  It might have felt boring at least for the most part, but still a success regardless of the outcomes and rooting interest.  The popularity is what makes the NFL a hit.

Thanks to everyone; it was great getting to chat and participate during the event for once.  Not often does the game end in a blowout, but I guess there's always a surprise in the Super Bowl, and that was it.  Take care.

My sister's work has been tangentially involved in the music industry, and she knows a ton of people in that industry.  Drake is an absolutely scuzzy, shady asshole who deserved every bit of Kendrick's beatdown and then some.  There's a reason Kendrick won a million Grammy awards a week ago (and with thunderous applause each time) for this diss track: everyone in the music industry knows how earned it is.

While the thread will be closed at some point, for those that plan on celebrating in a big way, it looks like the Eagles parade is scheduled for the end of the week.  With the snowstorms coming in around surrounding areas, Friday seems to be the best date for Philadelphia.
