norcalgal February 7 Share February 7 I have no idea if this show will return for another season, but if not…it’s crazy that they Spoiler Had Annie and Ty estranged while everyone else had a good/decent close to their story. Why have one sour note amidst all the happiness, new beginnings? Just have Ty and Annie pledge they’ll try to make a long distance relationship work, saying they can’t give up now, just when they finally got together. See how easy that was, writers? 🙄 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151757-s04e10-do-not-be-afraid/#findComment-8575192
Lebanna February 7 Share February 7 (edited) So I skipped the rest of the season and went straight to this and apart from KILL BILL, nothing happened. Again. Nothing. Zero. This show is hilarious. Nothing on Netflix gets four seasons, except this thing. Where nothing ever happens. Why does this show exist? Well…one big thing did happen, but it remains to be seen whether it will or not happen IF this show is renewed for S5. Spoiler Maddie gets a job offer but has to move to New York, and except for Tyler, the family will move with her. Like I posted earlier in this thread, Spoiler Except for the Tyler/Annie estrangement, everything ended on a high, upbeat, positive note. They should have ditched the Ty/Annie drama and ended the show for good with all the positivity. In fact, they’ll probably skip forward a month and have her already back. Because nothing ever really happens! twoods February 8 Share February 8 Yep, no way a show that’s based in the South is going to have a character live in NY. I don’t get why they had to give Ty/Annie drama after they were pretty strong all season long. I agree there was no need for this angst. This season did keep my interest, unlike last season where I couldn’t last one episode. Maybe it was the wine I was consuming. 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151757-s04e10-do-not-be-afraid/#findComment-8575591

Artsda February 9 Share February 9 It seemed really out of character for Ty to suddenly want Annie to push off her school to go follow him around Europe. They barely had a first date before he left for tour. Good for her for saying no instantly and not giving up on her dream. Happy for Helen. Dana Sue gets all her wants and buildings and dreams and says no to Ronnie's I am glad he found an investor. She's not coming through supportive of him unless it's about her. I keep beating the drum about how crazy the season ended with Annie and Ty estranged over this. No guarantee of a S5, so why introduce this sour note? They could have had Annie joining Tyler for the early part of his European tour, then leave with enough time for her to get ready for school in California. Dana Sue gets all her wants and buildings and dreams and says no to Ronnie's I am glad he found an investor. She's not coming through supportive of him unless it's about her. IIRC, Dana Sue’s plans (vo-tech) would be funded primarily - or exclusively by the Foundation, whereas Ronnie’s e-bike tour company would have to be funded themselves. And this is at a time when Annie’s dream school ended up costing more than they anticipated. That might explain why Dana Sue wasn’t supportive. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151757-s04e10-do-not-be-afraid/#findComment-8576408
Bobcatkitten February 11 Share February 11 So we had a wedding, a funeral, a hurricane and Christmas. I enjoyed it. Saccharine yes but sometimes I need an escape. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151757-s04e10-do-not-be-afraid/#findComment-8577902
