S03.E05: All This Murderous Power

The ones playing smart are those observing & clocking behavior but not shouting out names & accusations: Sam, Dolores, Sandoval, Gabby, Dylan (after his early roundtable misstep). Ciara was trying to play that way before she was targeted. 

Wes will try to do too much. I'm not familiar with Derrick but he seemed so petulant & pouty at the riddle challenge. Why would he expect anyone to just give him a shield?

I thought Dylan randomly voting Gabby at the last roundtable after saying nothing was maybe a bit of misstep. IMO he's gotten cocky since he was right about Bob and he's also embarrassingly up Rob's ass, which is not smart.

He is petulant and pouty when people don't play the game for him and he's also nowhere near as good as thinks he is/as he's portrayed to be. But, I could see him skating through for a bit.

Danielle is playing messy, and I don't think has a chance to survive her missteps let alone Rob.

Danielle is making no sense.   She went up like 4 times in the riddle challenge and never picked herself?  How does that not look suspicious.  Not like she is such good friends wiht Delores or whatever her name is.  And then wanting to get rid of Caroline to get a better traitor to work with to get out Rob... girl, how do you know the next traitor is going to work with you?  Dance with the devil you know.  It's not like Caroline said she wouldn't work with her, she just didn't think she was 'smart' enough.  I ask you!

I agree she gets talked over by the other two, but I also think she steps back too quickly. She did the same thing on Survivor— as soon as people disagreed with her, she would just shut up and roll her eyes. This may be a protective tactic, not wanting to be so forceful as to ruffle any feathers, but to me it comes off as meek. I just think if she stood up for her views a little more, people would have more respect for her.

But overall, I am loving the chaotic nature of this trio. With Danielle blinded by her hate for Rob, Carolyn silently seething over hurt feelings, and Rob cockily thinking he can do it all alone, there is no honor among traitors this year and I for one can not wait until they all implode.

When Robyn said that Danielle was always pressed to get shields, I so wish that Nikki would have told her about the last challenge.

I find myself wondering about Britney's game.  Her major claim to fame in Big Brother is bringing on the Snark in Diary Room sessions.  In contrast, she seems really subdued and not inclined to sarcasm and if she is any kind of alliance at this point, I can't name any other members.   

I can't help but think that one reason she is subdued is, as you saw in episode 1, she had an "oh shit" moment when she saw Danielle, who apparently holds a grudge when people she "trusts" cross her.    I wonder if she had a mirror handy to look at herself casting the vote against her bae, Bob the Drag Queen. 

Spoiler about Reindeer Games and the Britney/Danielle conflict:

IIRC, Danielle and Britney were friendly before BB: Reindeer Games and were in an alliance.   The remaining Reindeer took part in a competition where each successive person had less time to complete a task.  Britney chose Danielle to go after her, but I am not sure she had that much of a choice.   Danielle was so angry it really impeded her ability to complete the task and she was out.   And she STAYED angry. 

Anyhow, I have seen Danielle talk with Britany, and as BB people and former friends it seems like they would gravitate to each other and toward Derek. 

Whether by happenstance or design, Britney and Derek seem to be doing a good job of staying under the radar.   Not a Derek fan (and I actually loathed Britney during her first BB season), but if faithfuls win this year I wouldn't mind if either or both are in the group.   Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to seeing how they will react when they are under pressure.
