anna0852 January 11 Share January 11 This could be interesting. Zoe is Kim‘s niece who would be mid to late teens by now. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151392-s12e10-zoe/#findComment-8551797
anna0852 Thursday at 04:39 AM Share Thursday at 04:39 AM OK, absolutely not what I thought it was gonna be. I always love seeing Adam in Dad mode. The way he glows when Mack calls him Dad is just so lovely. And I think I’ve been watching crime dramas for too long because when he found those bodies and then a sole surviving child, instead of being horrified I was just thinking to myself that this is how he and Kim ended up with Mack and if he’s not careful, they’ll be taking home a second child. There’s something wrong with me. 1 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151392-s12e10-zoe/#findComment-8561991

There’s something wrong with me. It’s just that you’ve seen tv before. I couldn’t help thinking that Zoe must be involved in the Butterfly Clouds deaths somehow. (Clearly there’s something wrong with me.) Did not expect to be as moved as I was by that final scene of Jack Coleman and Flueger. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151392-s12e10-zoe/#findComment-8562011
Snazzy Daisy Thursday at 07:15 PM Author Share Thursday at 07:15 PM What a great episode with emotionally compelling performances from Paddy, Jack Coleman and Annabelle Toomy. 🔥 Alzheimer, a soul-crushing and horrible disease. I never thought that Disco Bob can make me cry. 😭 It’s an emotionally exhausting week for Adam. He’s trying to give Zoe her identity back while watching his dad starts to lose his. If Al is still around, he’ll be a great comfort for him. I wonder why there’s no mention of Adam’s sister. She needs to be with Bob too. Adam communicates with Zoe in the same way he speaks with Makayla, like a parent. There’s a sense of comfortness in their interactions. Quote “Men paid her. She got to have sleepovers with them in their mansions and castles.” Zoe knows and sees a lot of things that she isn’t supposed to. She uses the “butterfly cloud” term for all the deaths because it makes sense to her. And after everything, she still has some kindness in her. She notices that Adam is sad. Annabelle Toomy is a captivating young actress. She brings her own interpretation into her character — the way she speaks and her intense gaze at Adam while telling her story, all spot on. For me, Zoe is one of those memorable guest appearances in Chicago PD. 💙 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151392-s12e10-zoe/#findComment-8562359
NJRadioGuy Friday at 07:20 AM Share Friday at 07:20 AM I agree. Her scenes with Patrick were out-of-the-park good. I also thought she might have been the killer initially too, and I think she could have pulled that off. But I'm really glad they didn't go in that direction. Did Flueger lose a lot of weight recently? He really looks thinner, his face almost a bit gaunt maybe? 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151392-s12e10-zoe/#findComment-8562778
FnkyChkn34 Friday at 02:29 PM Share Friday at 02:29 PM I also thought that the child was the killer at first too. A little "ripped from the headlines" story because it happened where I'm from a while ago. (The child was just released from juvenile detention, I think.) By 11pm, I'm only half paying attention - they didn't solve it, right? They didn't find the guy? And Zoe went to CPS? (I also thought that Ruzek was going to take her home...) jcbrown Saturday at 02:59 AM Share Saturday at 02:59 AM (edited) I really liked this episode. I realize that, other than all the good stuff others have mentioned (which I agree with!), I also always like it when Voight the gravel-voiced aggro PITA is less present. paigow Saturday at 08:23 PM Share Saturday at 08:23 PM Did old man Halstead have dementia? Cronin / Cassidy is like that youth group supervisor who Upton was chasing that also had a house in the forest... 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151392-s12e10-zoe/#findComment-8563989
Guildford Saturday at 10:48 PM Share Saturday at 10:48 PM What a remarkable performances by both Paddy & Jack Coleman & the young girl Annabelle Toomey. Disco Bob tends to cause chaos, I wasn't expecting that though. I have to try & ignore the retconning of Bob that Rick Eid did & it seems like the current showrunner does too thankfully. Watching Adam try and process the news, while also dealing with Zoe was quite a trip. There is a twist in this serial killer story that I can't quite nail down just yet. Zoe knows stuff clearly, but how involved in it is she. At times I've had the feeling that when they said the little girl, sarah's death was deliberate I do wonder if Zoe had anything to do with that. But then she wasn't covered in blood, so I don't know. Can't wait for the resolution to that storyline. Another heartbreaking thing about Bob's condition is that pretty soon we won't get to see Jack Coleman on this show anymore & that's a travesty because it's always a treat when he shows up. Mack & Adam's conversation about the Belize Wedding was all sorts of cute as well as hearing Kim really laugh on the phone. After so many years of abject trauma for her character it's nice to hear her laugh again. Season 12 is really a step up from previous seasons. Everyone seems to be breaking free from the trauma and misery that dragged this show down for a few years. I actually look forward to each episode instead of dreading them. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151392-s12e10-zoe/#findComment-8564068
