Zaffy January 10 Share January 10 Best episode of the season so far, actually one of the best of the series, especially all the scenes between Solo and Jules. The season has been so bad till now, that someone could actually miss all previous 8 episodes and go directly to episode 9 without having any issues with understanding the story. Do we know if the last episode of the season will be double in length? It seems they must cover a lot of things, except if the season won't end with Jules returning/reaching her Silo. 5 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151369-s02e09-the-safeguard/#findComment-8551036
Quickbeam January 10 Share January 10 Good episode but most of it’s so dark it might as well be radio. Maybe it’s my tv? I need just a little more light in the sets. Love the ending. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151369-s02e09-the-safeguard/#findComment-8551213

Love the ending. I watch it from the computer, gave up on TV, it was indeed quite dark 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151369-s02e09-the-safeguard/#findComment-8551248
tired and hungry January 11 Share January 11 Great episode. As others mentioned you can easily skip the previous eps and watch this one and it will still make sense. But one thing I don't understand, wasn't it already kinda implied from the start that Solo was just a kid when he was told to stay in the vault when the rebellion happened? That he has been all by himself for so many years. Or maybe it wasn't that big of a reveal for the viewer as much as it was for Jules? It's bad on PC too. I have my brightness turned up all the way and it's still not enough sometimes & plus I then have to see the reflection on the screen😒 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151369-s02e09-the-safeguard/#findComment-8552177

I’d rather see what’s going on instead of living in the same darkness that they do. After all, they’ve had time and generations to adapt to the lack on sunlight. I haven’t. I'm even surprised there isn’t much more depression in the Silo. Where do they source their vitamin D? 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151369-s02e09-the-safeguard/#findComment-8553732

I also use my computer as my TV is ancient and way too dark. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151369-s02e09-the-safeguard/#findComment-8553753
tennisgurl January 16 Share January 16 (edited) This was definitely the best episode of the season, but I had to laugh at Juliette being so shocked at Solo being a kid when the silo fell and that we were supposed to be shocked, it seems pretty obvious given how long its been since the silo fell and how he talked about other kids in the school. Maybe its not supposed to be a surprise to us, just to Juliette? Girl, you are an engineer, do some math. I really liked how it was handled when Juliette realized it though, and the interactions between Solo and the kid survivors when they finally all chilled out. Describing what music is like to someone who has never even heard of the concept of music would be so hard. Bernard has to know that he's backed into a corner, but he just keeps doubling down and is now alienating everyone who could still help him. I really do think that Bernard does sincerely think he's doing the right thing, but he's not accounting for the rapidly changing circumstances, if he wants peace in the silo and to keep everyone from trying to go for the outside, he's not doing it very well. Him trying to strong arm everyone is making it worse for him. So are we finally going to get a few answers? My new weird, probably not backed by any kind of science theory, is that the air outside is fine by our standards, but after so many generations inside the people in the silos cant handle fresh air? Or its something in their water that makes them only able to live in the silo? tkc 1 hour ago Share 1 hour ago There's bonus content about Solo's vault that shows just how amazingly detailed the set is -- and it's well lit to boot. Too bad we can't really appreciate it to its full extent. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151369-s02e09-the-safeguard/#findComment-8567774
