iMonrey December 13 Share December 13 I think this is the most glammed-up I've ever seen Linda Cardellini. I didn't even recognize her at first. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151069-s01e01-open-house/#findComment-8531778

She also sounds like she's impersonating a Molly Shannon character. Kind of breathless, sexy? Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151069-s01e01-open-house/#findComment-8532294
Bastet December 14 Share December 14 Just from the first episode, this has a lot of the things that made me love the show runner's Dead to Me, and I dig the cast, so I'm hooked. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151069-s01e01-open-house/#findComment-8532907
SoMuchTV December 15 Share December 15 I mean, who doesn’t sympathize with the couple whose multi-million dollar house is considered the neighborhood’s downsizer/teardown? But yeah, I’m enjoying it so far. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/151069-s01e01-open-house/#findComment-8532979
Paloma December 15 Share December 15 Just watched this episode last night. Although I'm having trouble keeping track of the characters (until I came here I didn't even know the names of the homeowners), the story is interesting. So far it is not hooking me like Dead To Me, maybe because the two main women in DTM were more relatable to me on an emotional level than this larger cast, but I'll still probably binge this show in the next couple of days. One thing that confused me was the son's bedroom, which was obviously kept exactly as he left it (messy). Was his room locked to keep people at the open house from going in? I would think that prospective buyers, especially of such an expensive house, would want to see all the bedrooms. I know that the owners were sitting in a locked room to watch the prospective buyers, but that room looked more like a small storage room than the son's bedroom.
