Who will move to the next round in the tournament's tag team elimination match: Miyagi-Do or Cobra Kai? A shocking revelation shatters Daniel's world.

Premiere date: November 15, 2024

Demetri says "Eli" before the hug in the locker room like the world's about to end. I am glad they worked things out.

I rewound multiple times to listen to Chozen say "Binary Bros are back!" and "Dog cage changes a man." Yuji Okumoto really does have fantastic delivery.

Stingray is the worst witness of all time. I do like the senseis, but they're absolutely terrible coaches. There's been zero strategy for any of the challenges.

I do have to agree about keeping   it on the mat. I like that she was the villain, but now she's completely put upon because literally no one is focusing on actual fighting.

And good teamwork, with zero coaching, to keep tagging in and out. That was critical to the win. They also came up with the defense of preventing the other team from tagging in. That would have been my first strategy. I like the show, but in this tournament, the students shouldn't have been thinking that out on the fly.

Kreese can brandish his knife all he wants, but they lost. Robby had the better of their champion both times, so how good were they really?

So how does the timeline of the Sekai Taikai work if you can apparently fly from Barcelona to Los Angeles and be back in time for the next event?

And Silver mentioned to Kenny that the rules would allow him to switch to a different dojo during the tournament. I expect that this rule will come up again. Possibly Tory going back to Miyagi-Do?

I thought there were player limits to each dojo. Wasn't that the whole plot of the first part of this season?

But both Kenny and Miguel competed.

Maybe you can just designate an "active roster" for each event? I know I shouldn't think too hard on this.

I was composing the same post but had to leave it and go to work. It was especially glaring because of the tag team events Miyagi-Do had the advantage of having fresher fighters not needing to pace themselves for a longer fight.

The tag team didn't have the extra player, no? Miguel hadn't returned and Kenny was the replacement. Though he would have been fresher. Were they both in the raised platform match?

Cobra Kai just wasn't good in the tournament format.

Kenny originally was set to replace Miguel. He flies out to Spain, Miguel & Johnny go to America, but Miguel comes back anyway, Devon apologizes to Kenny and as a result steps down.
The roster starts with:
Robby-Sam-Devon-Miguel-Eli-Demetri
If Miguel didn't come back the roster would be:
Robby-Sam-Devon-Kenny-Eli-Demetri
However, as of now, the roster is:
Robby-Sam-Kenny-Miguel-Eli-Demetri from the tag team event on.
Miguel leaves after the platform event so Kenny isn't brought back into the plot yet.

I think you can.. I'm not sure of the rules, I mean the Sekai Tekai seems to be playing very fast and loose on the tournament style and how everything is taken into consideration.

I don't think they did unless there were long standing bruises. All fighters should've been at 100% anyways because think about the time that was taken. I'm presuming the Sekai Tekai has more than enough doctors and healing facilities that players can be at peak condition, so I don't think it's too much of an advantage.

Yes, Silver lampshades over the rules being loophole abusive.

Timeline seems to be wonky, but there's 1 event per day, so it seems. Miguel doesn't miss an event at all it seems. Now, Spain to California is 12 hours, we don't know how long he was back in the Valley for, but i'm assuming it was like 1 or 2 hours at most, because somehow he has to make it back for the tag team event.

I do not think Tory is going back to Miyagi-Do, she made her bed.

Cobra Kai actually exists inside a video game world where you instantly spawn at your destination. 😄

Glad to see Kenny's redemption arc play out.  Also glad to see the Miyagi-Do kids finally stop acting like D-bags.

I thought the fight scenes in the episode were great.

Later on in Game of Thrones, people were making it to the Wall in about 45 minutes with light traffic.
