Oh, dear.  Sir is planning to take Gabi to the Netherlands since they have no extradition laws.

Lacey's forgotten about Gabi confessing about Sir?  Shit will hit the fan when she remembers.  Also, she seems to be living with Zeke for the time being . . . and has been further traumatized by her second kidnapping by Sir.

I don't get how or why Margaret can't "read" with Gabi around, but can when she's not.

That was a nice twist on the case of the week.  From looking like the couple was kidnapped to thinking that the abusive husband kidnapped the battered wife to the true reveal: that the battered wife actually kidnapped the abusive husband.  And the wife, Kate, gets the happy ending by getting no charges pressed against her.

I'm guessing that Jay renounced his father at the end, though.

Good for Lacey, being willing to try and move past things with Gabi.  Learn from her, Zeke and Margaret.

Uh-oh.  Now what happened at the end?!  Did someone else take Lacey?!

In the final scene with the whole team she reveals that she remembers but says she put it aside because they had a client and saving lives comes first. She also tells Zeke that she can’t let this experience change who she is. Seems like she’s trying to block things out and might eventually break down in a few episodes though. Also, I thought Zeke’s scene at the end was meant to be a dream that revealed more about his feelings about losing Lacey and his agoraphobia than reality.

The writing was uneven, but I still thought this was one of their better cases. And while I don’t mind it, the fact that Mallory went from all but campaigning for Gabi’s arrest to telling Trent to fall back is a little hard to believe, even given his reasons.

Sir continues to be a shamelessly nutty terror and like always, Gabi looked great.

Not only can Sir disappear into thin air he can also make money appear out of thin air. Fake passports, plane tickets( which I am sure are first class because you Sir is not flying coach), rental deposits for a house aren't cheap.  Could it be the "friend" that was mentioned by the elderly man that is bankrolling Sir?

I guess Sir realized as much as he wanted to go upside Heavy Boots head with that glass knicknack, best to use his magically escape skills to get away. Hard to lurk about when you have every cop in DMV working doubletime to catch you for killing or seriously injuring one of their own.

I know they picked The Netherlands because MPG speaks Dutch in real life but they do infact have an extradition treaty with the US.

Okay, because I was coming here to ask if MPG spoke Dutch!

I was going to be really annoyed at Lacey's amnesia, so I'm glad she she actually does remember Gabi's confession by the end. Speaking of Lacey; I'm here for her and Zeke being a thing.

Yeah, totally rolled my eyes at this. I mean, she confessed; shouldn't there at least be some type of investigation into that?

Also at Sir *somehow* having the funds for passports, rentals, and plane tickets; and his disappearing powers (but that one's kinda a TV thing).

LOL'd at 'Girl, you ain't a cop!' -- applies to everyone on the team, though. They do so much "cop stuff" but aren't cops.

As to the case, it had a couple good twists; didn't guess the wife was the kidnapper. Glad there was a happy ending.

I'm actually enjoying the fallout from last season; to me, it's better than mostly glossing over everything after a couple episodes like most shows would do.

I'm also happy Lacey regained her memory this episode because I didn't want to go a whole season of them keeping what Gabi did from her. I also liked that she had a more pragmatic stance on it. She's pissed but she's not going to keep from helping other people and she's not going to spend every moment making a snide comment about it (Margaret). I also liked that she told them about seeing Sir on the surveillance camera outside the office b/c it was bad enough as a child she was seeing him and had to lie about it to stay with her mother. For her to be tortured with seeing him again and not being sure as an adult? That would have been awful.

Trent's superior being all "we're not putting Gabi is prison because you're mad at her" made me laugh. Because seriously, she's not going to jail. They are going to keep coming up with reasons not to do it and the abusive husband deciding not to press charges after his wife kidnapped him is signaling where this season will end up re: Gabi and Sir.

Sir picking out a house with a basement for Gabi was dark as hell.

From the flashbacks, why would Lacy/Bella seeing Sir mean she should get taken away from her mother. If they believed she saw him shouldn't they call the cops to help keep watch? And if they don't believe she saw him isn't it just a normal PTSD reaction? Taking her away from her parents and causing more trauma won't help with that.

I'm not sure the social worker knew that Bella/Lacey had been kidnapped. She seemed surprised when Gabi told her they had both been kidnapped. Up until that moment it sounded like she thought her mother was the one abusing Bella/Lacey. Maybe hearing that her falling off the deck (or was it a balcony) sound fishy. But she didn't know why seeing sir circled would scare her. Did her mother never report it or did the cops believe that she ran away from her mother?

Bella/Lacey was only with Sir for about a day. But I can't believe her mother didn't report it, she seems like a caring, responsible mother. And she seems to little to be classified as a runaway. Plus in the present the media seems to know Lacey was a previous victim.

Maybe the social worker didn't know that part, but I'd think all the mother has to do is explain and they'd understand why Bella/Lacey was not in a great place.

That's why it makes no sense that the social worker didn't know. Bella/Lacey's mother is a great mom. It makes no sense she wouldn't have called the police which should be in the social worker's file.
