And I have trouble understanding how DeMarco is going to save the.stabber's ass. I mean, why would the stabber do it? It's just going to lead to a world of hurt for him, isn't it?

Deputy DA Forsythe has been looking less impressive since his shock and awe first appearance on Haller.  It certainly looks like Detective Whitten has the I messed up by missing the snitch angle feeling.

Of course the Road Saints move in as on call Mickey security. But just a back of a motorcycle show.  I remember driving up near a group of Mongols once.😨  I would have preferred a Moya B teamer that Homeland Security couldn't get to.

I am so tired of the trop of the 'innocent person' stuck in jail getting hurt while in jail.

I was so sure that Julian was going to commit suicide. The reason for this is that at the beginning of E1 was the little warning at the top left of the screen saying something about violence, I think, but also suicide. I can't remember: Who committed suicide?

The violence  was a jail shanking  during the last scene of episode 8.

Yes, of course there's been a lot of violence, but since there was a warning about suicide, I was trying to remember who committed suicide or maybe just considered it.

IIRC, that warning was at E1, so really the suicide/near suicide would have been in that ep. I may have to rewatch or just read a recap.

ETA: N/M

It is probably a function of the Netflix distribution model. They expect you to keep watching episodes without a break  while skipping recaps and credits

The puzzle pieces are very very slowly coming together.
The flashbacks that explained why some semi-random house was wired with cameras helped.

The key to proving Mickey's client not guilty of murder is discovering and exposing the real murderer of Glory Days. I get that.
But wouldn't it be easier, and safer, if Haller had some trustworthy LAPD or FBI contacts that could help? They had eight months to work with.
Mickey's client would be released if a rogue detective solved Glory's murder.  I hear good things about a LA detective named Harry Bosch.

Meanwhile, the ghost of Eddie should be haunting the offices because his murder is not being investigated. (It probably is. And everyone assumes they know who was responsible for the car wreck. .. but still .. justice for Eddie.)

And he's great at cold cases.  Sadly, he's on Prime Video so there's not likely to be a crossover.  They do some collaboration in the books, but - if I'm not mistaken - the only time Harry and Mickey were together in a scene was a flashback on "Bosch" when Harry went to Mickey Haller Sr's house and little Mickey came to the door.
