I don't mind the profuse vomiting, but there's no way they could continue riding in that van unless it was fully "decontaminated".  And if they didn't stop off to buy mouthwash, there's also no way Ben would have been able to talk to anyone in that diner.  (At least they showed that the blown-out windows were covered with something.)  I especially liked Allison's new power.

Oh, man. So much puking.  
The whole town was a setup.  Luther just wants to replace his sconces, and he’s getting shot at. 
I can’t believe that Ben spiked Viktor’s drink. I mean, I figured he spiked all of their drinks, but Viktor’s power can end the world.  
klaus can’t come back, without his power.  Damn.  
luther can take bullets, and Allison can possess people.  
baby shark as an action soundtrack. Lmao.

So this actually did feel like The Umbrella Academy, gross and weird and fun. So...much...puking...so very glad that I had already finished my lunch before I watched this. 

The whole town is part of some new evil Reginald scheme, but was he behind Sy sending the siblings there, or does he have another agenda?

Although I was looking forward to the return of this show, I have been disappointed in the first two episodes. The characters just don't seem as interesting, and the acting is not as convincing as in previous seasons. One of the things that was so appealing about this show in previous seasons was the relationships between the "siblings"--both the writing and the acting made you believe that they cared about each other or at least had a real connection due to their shared traumatic upbringing. But now they seem like unconnected people who just happen to be in the same scenes. I understand that most of them have been living separate lives with no contact for the last few years, but action alone without human feelings is not enough for me.

The plot also is not engaging me, maybe because I'm confused about who is trying to kill them and why--I guess it has something to do with the timeline but so far it does not make sense. The stakes in previous seasons seemed higher--what could be more important than preventing the apocalypse? But also interesting in previous seasons was the way the experiences of the siblings incorporated important issues such as racism, homophobia, and the rights of women without begin heavy-handed. 

My husband and I may finish out the season since it's short, but I hope we don't end up feeling it was a waste of time.

At this point, just tell Diego about your secret meetings with a weirdo cult, Lila and Five. 

The Keepers aren't wrong that there is something going on with the timelines and it has to do with the Hargreaves kids, maybe the whole family knowing about the cult would be helpful and poor Diego won't have to think your cheating on him Lila.

Otherwise, it was a good episode, but yeah that van would have to deep cleaned before I get back into it.

Kindof stupid of Diego not to pull over but to risk everyone puking in the van.  Making 'good time' is worth risking that?  really?

so who is Sy?  an ally or something else?  and who is Jennifer?
