chitowngirl July 1 Share July 1 I really dislike when they show a text chain on the phone. I can’t ever read it! Even on the big screen at the movies!! I wasn’t sure if it was this episode or not, but I didn’t think it was a spoiler statement…. I can edit it out if anyone wants me to. 6 Link to comment
Dr.OO7 July 1 Share July 1 Maybe it's because I'm insanely in love with Jamie Bamber and consequently any character he plays, but I couldn't help but wince when Rachita told Martin it was "embarrassing" to be engaged to him. Considering that this was BEFORE she discovered he was one of the bad guys. . . OUCH. * How does this guy manage to look insanely sexy even while being scruffy and unkempt? 1 Link to comment

We usually DVR shows and watch them so we can freeze and rewind to read texts by walking up to the TV. It’s really annoying. I like it when they show texts as thought bubbles, but that would be hard to do with a chain like in this episode. 1 Link to comment

They leave out all the swear words even though they're not muted in the scenes (at least they're not on the website... have they been in the TV broadcast?). And in the previous episode the closed captioning had someone describing the kidnappers as having "guerilla masks"... I was like, hmm, what are those? New British name for a balaclava? I laughed when we got to see them later... gorilla masks. 1 Link to comment

Since PBS is a broadcast network, I think it might be subject to FCC standards on language, nudity, sex, etc. which don't apply to streaming or premium pay cable. (On the other hand, in my youth I remember PBS being more liberal in showing nudity and sex than you would see elsewhere other than HBO, at least for PBS in New York).
