There were rumors before the season started that TPTB didn’t care for this season.  I’m curious if that’s really true because I think this is the best new era season, and if the end game boot order proves true I think it’ll be interesting.  I know one thing Probst probably hated was how idols and advantages pretty much were wasted and treated as an after thought, and maybe some of the scenes where they didn’t care about fishing or were lying around camp instead of scrambling to find an advantage.  But I think it’s a good cast, with lots of personalities, dynamics, the most annoying people are gone (except Andy but I’m sort of enjoying his ‘legend in his own mind’ persona), there’s been great blindsides, and I think some good strategy.  So unless the end game just drags and is predictable (which could happen for the Kyle and Gabe boots if Tuku is getting picked off), I’m curious what they wouldn’t like about it.  And if Rachel wins I’d hardly think that was a bad outcome.  Probst said he loved her move with her SITD.

Watch Andy Turn Rachel Against Genevieve in 'Survivor 47' Sneak Peek (Exclusive)
Mike Bloom   Nov 19, 2024

In the exclusive sneak peek of Wednesday's episode above, Andy takes a moment to conspire with fellow castaway Rachel LaMont. It's the latest check-in for one of the most complicated relationships in the game. What started as a close connection deteriorated on the first night, as Rachel grew wary of Andy's paranoia and began to immediately pull herself away. Unfortunately, all she got from severing that relationship was being left out of two key votes where Andy was in the driver's seat. And so, cut off from her closest allies, she finds herself back with him once more.
*  *  *
"[Genevieve's] a silent assassin," Andy tells Rachel. "And then she was also floating, 'We have to look out for Rachel. So you shouldn't trust her."

Whether or not Andy is actually intending to turn Rachel against Genevieve remains to be seen with context within the episode. Regardless, his goal is quite clear. He wants to provide himself multiple outs to set up as many endgame combinations as possible. While Andy coins Genevieve the "silent assassin," it's a title he finds more befitting to himself in private.

Just have to say this - I think that Sue’s biggest regret after watching this season on tv will be that, KNOWING that she’s on tv, never bothering to wash her filthy face, not one time

Maybe she thinks the dirty face will distract people from the atrocious plastic surgery and poorly done implants?  I also think she probably has a lot of skin discoloration, melasma, from too much sun/tanning beds and she might think having a dirty face will make it less obvious.

I saw a theory online that Rome might have purposely mixed up the Tuku's or some of the jury order, but kept the final 3 the same.  So maybe Andy/Genevieve/Teeny are the next 3 to go but not in that order.

Andy may get idoled out next week or people think he might win after Operation Italy, and decide he's a threat.  Something must happen that takes the target off Genevieve, Sam, and Rachel (given the previews it seems like everyone might be waking up too late to what a threat Rachel is).  I'm not sure if anyone thinks Sam has a shot of winning so it could be he's just getting dragged along at this point.

I keep hearing about Teeny going out in the fire making challenge. Don't know how accurate that rumor is, but I think it will actually go Andy, Genevieve, and then Teeny goes out in fire making. I could be wrong.

Sue does not have a mirror.  She probably has no idea her face is always dirty.  That makes me think that nobody bothers to tell her to wash her face.  It makes me laugh to think that others are letting her walk around like that.

Mirror or not, is she allergic to water?? I mean, seriously, when they're all "bathing" in the ocean, does she not think to even "spritz" her face?

I've seen theories that the edit has alluded to Teeny and possibly Sue being in fire.  I wonder if they both ask to go to fire because they don't feel like they have much going for them on the resume front.

Found this on Reddit but it appears Genevieve might win the next IC:

If so, then I can see Andy going over Sam.  He might be considered too much of a loose cannon at this stage of the game (in one of Caroline's interviews, it sounded like he was very high maintenance and needed people to keep an eye on him).  Genevieve after that would make sense, we know Rachel has it out for her, and we don't know what idols/advantages are still in play at the final 5.  I'm still amazed Rome would actually leak the remaining boots, even if some of it was out of order.  I'm guessing he didn't get a call for S50 and was bitter about it.  From some of the exit interviews I've read, it sounds like he was quite the piece of work.
