I figured the Vault 4 folks would end up being nuts (and that's saying something when talking about vaulters in general), but that was a wild ride.  They not only worship Moldaver and spread the ashes of the dead on their bodies at times, but they are also doing some kind of experiments on level 12?  That, I think, involves forcing women to birth some kind of fish creatures.  Yeah, that's all kind of crazy and disturbing.  Good luck trying to worm your way out of this, Lucy!

Not surprised that Maximus would fall under the spell of vault life, with all of the food and hot showers.  He's even ready to have "intercourse" with Lucy now that he know ejaculation is actually considered normal.  Safe to say sex education amongst The Brotherhood is lacking in a lot of areas...

Chris Parnell was a hoot as Vault 4's Overseer: complete with one eye in the middle that makes him look like a cyclops!

Curious to see what is next for The Ghoul and this new "president" played by Glenn Fleshler.  Ironically, this might be one of the more normal characters Glenn has played out of everything I've seen him in (True Detective, Barry, Boardwalk Empire.)

The flashbacks with Cooper seem to opening up some interesting paths.  I'm guessing the wedge between him and his wife will be due to all of this stuff with Vault-Tech and how shady they are.  It already sounds like being part of their advertising has damaged his spot in Hollywood, so if he ends up going against them, I can see why he ends up being forced to work kid's birthday parties come pilot time.  Great seeing Dallas Goldtooth from Reservation Dogs as Charlie and getting to see Matt Berry in live action form as Sebastian Leslie: the icon whose voice will be used by all of the Mr. Handy robots!  But the biggest reveal?  That Moldaver is also there in the past and seems to be the same age she is now.  Twist!

I mean it's true that Vault-Tec is only beholden to its shareholders, but I don't think shareholders would like it if the entire society and thus the economic system would explode. I don't think you can convert Vault-Tec stock into bottle caps...

Moldaver was alive over 200 years ago without being a Ghoul? Interesting.

Those experiments in Vault 4 are weird.

The flashback scenes were very interesting.  I'm surprised Cooper wasn't upset that his wife invited all those Vault-Tec people to his house.  I would have been pissed that she hid it from me.  She's sucking up to Vault-Tec, and doesn't seem to care about what her husband feels about it.  The Moldaver reveal is very interesting. 

I have never heard of someone comparing a penis to a pimple before, how disgusting!

It was annoying when Lucy decided to automatically trust people just because they're in a vault, but I'm glad she got over that.  The video of the lady giving birth to fish creatures and then being eaten by them was messed up.

Glen Fleshler is playing a character named Sorrell Booker and dressed like Boss Hogg.  Who the fuck thought that would even be remotely funny?

A wild Matt Berry appears! Really fun to see him in the flesh as an old friend of Cooper's from back in the day, its really interesting seeing more of his past. It seems like we're seeing more of how Cooper went from A List actor who's happily married to a much more jaded man doing children's birthday parties and paying alimony. He's losing out his connections in Hollywood due to his connections with Vault-Tech and he and is wife are having issues due to her commitment to them despite how shady they are. She seems to be fully drinking the Vault-Tech Kool-Aid no matter what her husband says, it sucks that she seems to be so annoyed by his totally reasonable questions and concerns. I would be pissed too if someone randomly told me I had to leave my dog in a nuclear wasteland! 

I knew that Vault 4 would be up to some weird shit, but that was a lot even by this shows standards. Not only are some of the residents mutated, they creepily worship Moldaver by stripping and covering the ashes of dead bodies AND are apparently doing some creepy human testing. Although it seems like that horrifying birthing video is pretty old and that side at least is run down, so did some experiments happen early on and now they are doing something different?

I guess sex education isn't really a part of the Brotherhoods curriculum. I don't blame Maximus for being so taken in by Vault 4, if I met someone who gave a a hot shower for the first time ever, I would probably pledge my loyalty to them too.

Moldaver is not only the same woman who led the attack on Lucy's wedding, being the shittiest wedding guest ever, but she's also hundreds of years old despite not being a Ghoul! The plot thickens!

i got the impression that the Moldaver worshippers are former Shady Springs residents; the mutated residents are the former 'test subjects' that were used by the scientists that were the primary inhabitants of V4.   I didn't recall seeing any mutated residents part of the worshipers.  

the original scientists appear to have been attacked/killed by a mutated test subject.  the surviving former test subjects, plus the Shady Springs survivors, are trying to help remaining pregnant test subjects.

I don’t blame him for not wanting to leave his dog behind. So, there was another nuclear explosion? Those images on the blackboard, the timeline.  Is that why some of them look to have birth defects?
