jewel21 February 24 Share February 24 Quote Intelligence teams up with ASA Chapman to take on an abduction case involving a teenager. The case hits close to home for Voight, leading him to take a personal interest in finding justice for the victim. Airdate: 02/28/2024 Link to comment
Sandman March 1 Share March 1 I think I liked it, but as soon as Voight told ASA Chapman “We’re all he’s got,” I knew Voight would end up taking the kid in. The Justin-anvils were thick on the ground. Link to comment
Snazzy Daisy March 1 Share March 1 This is my favorite episode of S11. It’s a compelling hour with emotional ending. 💙 Jason Beghe finally has something interesting to work with and he nonchalantly carries this episode. The showrunner and writers suddenly remember that Hank Voight is Chicago PD. 🙄 Noah’s 👁👁 being stapled open are truly disturbing. Does the perp do that to force him watching heterosexual porn as part of “cleansing” ritual? I hope his parents have nothing to do with what happened to him because that’ll be truly sickening. Voight has been emotionally inaccessible since Anna’s death. Noah’s presence will give him a new sense of purpose, hopefully. And he will be there for Noah throughout his healing process. In the follow-up episode, they better give us a Noah’s singing scene. Tracy’s hair in this episode looks very nice, fresh out of keratin treatment maybe. 1 Link to comment
jcbrown March 1 Share March 1 (edited) I just could not find it in me to care about this episode. Voigt is the worst thing about this show, IMHO. Edited March 1 by jcbrown 2 Link to comment

I’m absolutely figuring it was the parents or somebody in the church who hired the offender to “convert” Noah back to heterosexuality. 2 1 1 Link to comment

Yeah, I was stunned absolutely no one mentioned that. I really liked this episode. Voight was more the man he used to be when he could be vulnerable. He's seemed so lost since losing Al. Having someone to take care of should be interesting - I hope Noah stays around a while, even if in the background after his storyline wraps up. 3 Link to comment

Guildford March 1 Share March 1 I really enjoyed that one. No overwrought personal angst & an interesting case. Poor Noah with the eyes, yikes who does that to a person. That person deserves to be hunted down by Voight. Loved how Burgess & Ruzek literally ran out of the bullpen when Hanks told them to go home. Upton only mildly irritating but I think that comes down to the monotonous way she delivers her lines... oh & she looked like she'd been dragged through a hedge backwards with that hair. (only 7 epsiodes to go... I can do it, I can do it.) I do like the dynamic between Voight & Chapman. They seem to play off each other really well. Link to comment
