I haven't liked the most recent episodes as much as the first two episodes. Barbara/Sophie/Barbara's character keeps making faux pas and isn't helping her career much. I like Dennis but feel bad for him and his marriage. The exec Ted is a total jerk. Barbara's Aunt Marie is a piece of work.

I wonder if her mother will show up, now that Barbara is making a success, or will be a success if things clear up.

I do like her roommate, Marjorie, and her group of her feminist friends. I like her dad too. I am interested in the final episode, but if it returns, I'm not sure I'll continue watching.

The plot thickens as they say.   Truths are spoken, a marriage breaks up, and someone may be coming out.  And yes, got to agree that Ted is a jerk and Aunt Marie is really a very bitter (and probably jealous) person.

Great clothing and makeup.  I loved it when the gang went to the underground Gay club, but my only complaint is that music was used that came out years after 1963 or 64; but I guess that only music nerds like me would be so picky about that.

I'm going to miss this show when the season ends and will be looking forward to season 2.

I'm right there with you. Jefferson Airplane is a screaming 1967 marker! Big error in my book. A musical anachronism pulls me right out of the scene.

I understand the frustration about the exact dates the chosen music hit the charts, but you do have to admit that it seems to be well chosen to reflect the plot. I think they figured if it came from the same decade, it was fair game.

I agree with you, the music did fit the scene. I really enjoyed this show and can't wait for another season.

also a music nerd, but a forgiving one. They play Syd era Pink Floyd!

As for what jobs women can do, on one episode of The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Mary and a friend tried to think of jobs only men can do.  They came up with only two: sperm donor and female impersonator.

I rarely forgive these kinds of errors, lol, but this show was still wonderful and I also can’t wait for another season.

Same, I was willing to go past them because in addition to enjoying the show, it was so fun to hear some of them!

What a great series this turned out to be. I was hesitant but I'm so glad I went with it.

The cover of Spencer Davis Group took me a bit out of it. This probably dates myself, but I know what Winwood sounds like, and when it wasn’t him…
