Is there a new TMNT thing coming out or something?

"Chainsaw Rick"? Not everyone needs a nickname, Show. Is it bad that I laughed when he went down on the Log Runner?

How do these people run the course with long, loose hair? Most days I can't even get through the whole day at my desk job without tying my hair back at some point.

Is the water actually dyed or do they just have green lights in there?

"I named my kid after a Ninja Turtle." Oh, geez. (Little Leonardo is adorable, though. Looked like he was ready for a nap. I can relate...I get tired watching this show, too.) 

Ryan Stratis! Nice to see an old-timer. (Well, one that I like, at least...) I feel like most of them this season have gotten the WWWA treatment. (Including Brett Sims shortly after.)

Happy for Flip and for Ryan Stratis.  Congratulations to Caleb and Ashley Bergstrom on their marriage and to Caleb for his MegaMall run and Ashley for a solid run of her own.  If they are the new ninja power couple, one benefit of the abbreviated format is that Matt and Akbar didn't go on and on about it.

It doesn't feel as if we are getting enough of Zuri this season.

I think in general the editing was better this evening - showing the abbreviated runs of the final two competitors just before they went head-to-head.  

I'm probably not going to see the TMNT movie, but I have to hand it to Akbar and Matt for being good sports about it, especially at the end.

I got the impression that was his nickname prior to having any involvement in Mutant Ninja Warriors.

The most hilarious part about his demise was he was going into the water just as the commentators were saying how easy the Log Runner would be for a tree surgeon. I'm surprised that didn't get edited out because it really made Matt and Akbar look like idiots, so, no, there was nothing bad about laughing.

For some reason I found this a more enjoyable episode than most this season, despite the TMNTs, who I FFd through. I think there were more adult contestants?

Zuri wasn't even there last night. She was clearly in front of a green screen, you could see her outline.

I don't understand how the next stage is going to work.  If all the runs are head to head races, are we going to see a "back half of the course"?

Like others here, I was so glad to see veterans Ryan and Flip back.  Also that they completed the course.  Strange to remember that Flip was once the Young Gun.

According to this site,

Semifinals: Will now be side-by-side racing on a brand new 6-obstacle course. We will combine the fields from two Qualifying episodes into one Semifinal, The matchups for these races will be determined by placement on the Qualifying leaderboards. The fastest Qualifier will race against the slowest. #1 vs #24, #2 vs #23, etc. Same with the Women’s leaderboard. Those who win their race, along with the two fastest non-winners, will move on to Vegas and the National Finals.

At what point are the mens' semi and womens' semi combined? 

This wasn't a problem when everybody raced against the clock, but will the finals still have the two contestant races?
