They're not exactly subtle with Doctor Royce Hemlock - villain name, villain haircut.

I enjoyed Tech showing some emotions during the flying lessons and Omega's joy at seeing Echo. However Pabu is in dire need of some aircraft landing security protocols. Folks just standing there and running away once the landing sequence starts is a major incident waiting to happen.

That episode seemed short.

So good to see Howzer. I assumed he had been executed. I don't understand why the Empire, that feels that Clones are useless expired equipment, imprisons them instead of just executing them. Not that I would want that, it just seems too lenient to me. I guess to experiment on them?

I gotta say, Hemlock is verging on mustache twirling mad scientist villain. I liked Rampart's utter banality compared to Hemlock's overt evilness.

I think that Emery will help out Crosshair given how she reacted to his escape and subsequent torture. And I'm glad she calls him by his name. I'm glad we got two Crosshair episodes so seeing him try to warn the BB felt like another step on that path. And Hemlock, when you say his freedom, that's not an incentive for him. I think the idea of freedom, without any mission or purpose, is scary for him.

Looking forward to/mildly dreading next week.

I think what we’re seeing is that there are really two Empires at work here.  First there’s the Rampart Empire, which is the military and the bureaucracy- they’re the ones that view the clones as obsolete and would have them “retired.”  Or, I guess they are being rounded up and arrested because they “can’t be trusted” once the truth about Kamino came out?  But that’s where the Hemlock Empire comes in, which sees the clones as a resource to be exploited.  I assume the “blank” clone that attacked Chuchi is a result of whatever treatment Hemlock is subjecting Crosshair to.  That’s the freedom he’s offering- free from your own mind and willpower.  And, then there’s whatever research he wants Omega for. But, regardless of which Empire we’re talking about, they both ultimately see the clones as disposable property, which is pretty sad.
