I continue to enjoy the show as easy casual entertainment, but I kind of feel like we're nearing the end of stories to tell. I don't know that there's much more to build on in the oldest Dwayne era, that's all pretty well documented at this point. Middle Dwayne is running up against eldest Dwayne's story from the first season, and young Dewey's stories turn more on his folks, which don't have as much story with post-WWF Rocky.

Hoping for a strong finish and wrapping up the show with this season

Yeah, while I've been loving seeing Dwayne in the WWE/WWF so far and seeing some of the familiar 90s moments and faces (Ken Shamrock!), I don't know how further they can take it in the long run.  Maybe up to his first WWE Championship title?  Because I'm not sure how they will be able to work in his 00s reign or when he starts officially going into Hollywood in a way that won't feel like they are treading familiar ground.  I guess we'll see.

This episode does solidify that as much as I enjoyed every version of "The Rock", I really did love it whenever he was heel/bad guy.  Both this version and the "Hollywood Rock" era were some of my favorites.  It's interesting since he's gone full tilt at always being the good guy in films, because he really excels at being the baddie.

Man, Randall, at the rate things are going, you might not even be allowed in the room if you keep this up.  Already regulated to the corner!

I had a different take after talk of Black Adam can't lose and Vin versus Dwayne where the actor couldn't lose a fight or even connect on one less punch after his father spent so much time on him selling the other guy back in that episode. I think it can run as far as the SNL Franchise Viagra bit

During the first season, I felt like young Dewey's storyline focused on family, middle Dewey's was about his romantic relationships and eldest Dewey on his career.  I wish they'd stuck with that format instead of doing what they did in season 2.  It's kinda weird that his wife came out of nowhere last season and I wish they'd introduced her in elder Dewey's storyline but then used middle Dewey to show them dating in college.  It would have been a good way to keep the storylines for each version of Dewey focused and would have helped them to not overlap with each other.

Given the really low ratings, cancelation will probably solve that problem

I really liked this episode because I was super into wrestling at the time and can remember how fast Dwayne's star took off once he turned heel. So it is interesting to see it from his perspective. One thing I find really interesting is in that post-kayfabe era, while it is hard to deal with being a celeb, Dwayne doesn't have to maintain character all the time and fans are cool with it. Compare that to his dad's era and guys how to be in character all the time, and The Iron Sheik gets fired for travelling in a car with someone who was supposed to be his enemy (yes I know there was drugs in the car).

I think there is still lots of room. With how fast they run through storylines it wouldn't surprise me if we start to see him doing some acting stuff. At this point we are only about 2 years from his appearance on That 70's show (playing his dad which I would love to see home recount). And if we can have a fake Chunk why not a fake Ashton Kutcher.

Plus the timeline of this show has always been weird. It seems like they ran through his whole university career in one season, so there are probably a lot more stories to tell. Plus high school aged Rock is big enough to be a believable university student. The bigger issue is little kid Rock. WrestleMania one has already happened for him. But in season 1 WrestleMania 3 happened for high school Rock in Pennsylvania. And then in season 2 High School Rock's story went backwards to Memphis. So does that mean in like 1-1.5 years the little kid Rock will be doing middle Rock Memphis stories?
