The constant "I'm doing this for my daughter" / "She's doing this for her daughter" isn't landing for me. Like...you want your daughter to see you suffer and potentially cause permanent harm to yourself?! I hope that's not what she's actually doing, but you know, it's also okay to just be hurt and not use your kid as motivation for suffering through insane pain. I dunno.
