Poor Pepper's misadventures continue. She actually did pretty well at the telephone game, I thought, boiling the limerick down to the key words. It was Logan who seemed to keep screwing it up.

I don't think Dominique was quite the villain she appeared to be (I think most of her "evil" laughter was more nervous laughter), but she sure fell into the standard reality show trap of "when I'm playing the game and manipulating people it's fun and cool, but when it happens to me, suddenly I'm upset and offended."

I wonder who Kai was planning on guessing before her "last minute production interference change of heart".

LC, Logan, and Amara have seemed to be the main characters for awhile now, so I'm guessing they're in it for the long haul. The others (now that Dominique is gone) are in more of a supporting role.

There were some big clues in the telephone competition so I really hope that the contestants paid attention enough to write them down in their notebooks.  Once someone said Al Sharpton I could really see the resemblance in her face.  I would have the hardest time with that clue board due to all of the distractions on it and how many images are on it.

I'm guessing Kai was probably going for Amara?  Since it seemed like a bunch of people have her and Louise pegged without clues.
Its kind of wild that both Amara and Louise have not gotten eliminated yet.  If Louise hadn't gotten immunity, I could see both Dominique and Kai, just be like screw it give me the layup.

I feel like Logan and Pepper are going to go far.  Seems like no one is going to peg either of their celebrities.  Logan's clues seem a lot more cryptic, since it feels like his hints don't really distinguish certain male country singers from others?  I feel like Pepper is only going to get eliminated if she picks wrong, since I feel that the house is pretty young, and I could seem them not figuring out her grandfather.

Pepper's place in the game is very interesting to me. We haven't really seen (or at least been shown) anyone being the slightest bit interested in figuring out who her relative is. Perhaps they view her as a layup in the opposite sense of Louise: she's an easy one to put in as guesser because she's so bad at the game that, as long as no one gives her any hints, she'll never guess correctly and will therefore go home. So they figure, why bother trying to figure her out? It's just odd to me that no one seems to care who she is.

I'm also a bit worried that when they do reveal her relative (one way or another), the rest are going to be like...who? Damn kids lol.

ETA: You might be right about Kai originally going to guess Amara. This would also play into a possible conspiracy theory about why she changed her mind. Because this show airs on ABC, and guess who also has a prominent role on another prominent ABC show, who might have a relative they don't want going out this early?

Actually, I think even this group could come up with some of the names of the Rat Pack if they would put those clues together (Vegas, Rats, Bourbon).  The Rat Pack must have some notoriety within this age-range group.  But, most likely they may only know Frank Sinatra.  Yet, they were aiming for Martin Luther King, Jr., until remembering Al Sharpton (for Dom).

Yes, I've been side-eyeing Amara's participation on this show before it even aired. The two Jonas brothers were on The View promoting it and Whoopi made a big deal of pointing out that her granddaughter was cast on the show before it was even picked up by ABC/Disney. I dont like Whoopi so I don't believe her 🤨.

There are very strict FCC rules when there's a money prize involved so there would be huge fines if there was any production interference.

They don’t. They only apply to contests of intellectual knowledge, intellectual skill, or chance. Reality shows don’t fall under that definition.

Right. This was made clear many years ago. Interference with a show like Password or Jeopardy falls under the rule.  Shows like American idol, survivor, Apprentice, Big Brother, do not have to follow the rule because they are not the same kind of show. The rule is about giving contestants answers to questions, and nothing more.

I can't get over the fact that LC kept referencing the Million Man March and MLK.  Doesn't she know that MLK died 50 years ago and the MMM took place  a lot more recent (like within the last 20 years)?  or didn't anyone clue her in?

Definitely some of the contestants have benefited from more obscure famous relatives (like Pepper - whom nobody has even mentioned a possibility), or the complete lack of knowledge anyone in the house seems to have of country music (my daughter - who doesn't even follow it that much, has already said she's sure Logan's relative is Luke Bryant - i'm like, ok, i have no idea).  Pepper i think was the Las Vegas rat clue, maybe Rat Pack, which honestly the only two i recall are Sammy Davis Jr. (not likely) and Dean Martin (which might also work for olives/martini too and the jacket).  Was Frank Sinatra part of that group?  Lark, an 80s runway queen with jeans shorts, could be Cindy Crawford, which is probably the only runway model i can think of from that era (oh there's a couple others now maybe - Cybill Sheppard, Candice Bergen - but i don't think any of them wore jeans shorts).

Will anyone put together "bee" and "nope" for LC?  pretty obvious if you get it.

I get the clues for Kai's relative, and i did recognize the dress, but had to confirm as i couldn't recall where i saw it.  it is another relative i think you had to know their career well enough to get, unless you recognized the dress off the bat (which no one seemed to do - since Dom's idea was wrong).

I'm guessing its down to the time for the "lay up" picks of Louise and Amarra (which to their disadvantage, their looks give it away), unless new clues really spell it out for Logan, Pepper, Lark, LC and Tia (moreso than already done).
