paigow April 8, 2022 Share April 8, 2022 Apr 8, 2022 Slough House is an unlikely venue for a secret romance, but events take a dark turn when a dangerous encounter becomes deadly. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/128491-s01e03-bad-tradecraft/
mjc570 April 9, 2022 Share April 9, 2022 Terrific episode. I can't believe how faithful to the books it is. It was easy to follow even for my spouse, who has not read the books. I think this is halfway through the season? 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/128491-s01e03-bad-tradecraft/#findComment-7390447
mellyf April 10, 2022 Share April 10, 2022 I agree...my husband and I are also loving it. I just finished the book and it seems like the show must be about halfway thru. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/128491-s01e03-bad-tradecraft/#findComment-7391760
Rickster April 10, 2022 Share April 10, 2022 Still not sold on Oldman as Lamb, but I am enjoying it. Like the rest of the cast. Glad to see non book readers can follow it, as it seems to me some scenes are compressed vs. the book ( or maybe I just took my time reading it). Athena5217 April 11, 2022 Share April 11, 2022 (edited) Was the beheaded guy the MI-5 agent? I thought it was the other guy until he apparently went crazy with the axe. I hate waiting a week to find out what happened! Edited April 11, 2022 by Athena5217 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/128491-s01e03-bad-tradecraft/#findComment-7394012

I hate waiting a week to find out what happened! That is the implication. I'm not sure how Curly worked out that Moe was a mole. None of scenes with the kidnappers gave an indication that Moe slipped up. Perhaps Curly got information from his burner phone that Moe was compromised. Mrs. Stanwyck April 13, 2022 Share April 13, 2022 (edited) Haven't read the books but have been enjoying the series. I read the comments in the "anticipation" discussion about how much Lamb farts and smokes in the books. My husband was glad I told him about that because we were both a little confused about the number of fart references. 😀 I think somehow reporter guy (Hobden) or someone he told, was finally able to get in touch with the kidnappers and pass along his information about MI-5. PaulaO November 30, 2022 Share November 30, 2022 (edited) Started watching this last night with a free week trial. Lamb’s line “you are in my debt until you are in a care home “ was magnificent.
