Yeah maybe it is the one eye being bigger than the other.  Nobody’s face is perfectly symmetrical but hers I find distracting lol.  But maybe because she is always saying such vapid things more attention is drawn to inspecting her because you can’t focus on any actual ideas being conveyed.

The way her makeup is done to accentuate her eyes (and make them look bigger), she almost looks cross-eyed during her talking heads.

She thinks he should make demands of a totalitarian government so that she can have a plaything. You know if he comes when she gets bored she will cite some trivial reason and send him packing.

Hard to believe she passed the realtor exam.  There is no way she understands how mortgages work etc.

Different cultures have rules that we don't understand. I have a friend from China who was escorted by police to a hospital to be forced to abort her child. She has a son already, and her district decided that she was not to have another.

Turkish friends fled death threats because their son left the country to marry someone who was not Turkish.

This stuff happens.

Larry has two sons from a previous relationship, the oldest is 22 and the younger one is 18. I agree the son looks much older. This is from his 42nd birthday last July and when he found out he's no longer on the hook for child support. (apparently these kids are his grandchildren)

Agreeing with both of you, Suzywriter and magemaud.

It would be zero surprise if red tape imposed by the Chinese government legitimately kept him there.  They do not play around - I can’t even imagine there would be a single second spent on a request of that nature.  I think it’s safe to say they’d find it laughable.
 

Ella is just clueless, in addition to being blinded by her selfish entitlement.  I doubt she knows a thing about how ANY government works, much less that the Chinese government would likely be the last to send one of their citizens to the U.S. to visit their American love interest.  Poor Johnny is fighting an uphill battle when it comes to enlightening his impetulant toddler girlfriend.

Well, that was one of the more depressing hours I've spent lately. I think I'm done with the Diaries. 

Julia is driving the relocation. Oh God, please spare me wimpy men. Of course his mother had to be extra-dramatic and make it all about her. (And Lordy, what a terrible new hairstyle.) I think the couple were naive in these difficult economic times to let go of one good steady job. No doubt that rent on an upscale building in Richmond is going up and up. I can understand chasing a dream of cheaper housing but housing has gone high in FL as well. Did they do any research? Hell no. I bet Marc is shocked that they showed up.

Calling it now: Brandon's mother will want to sell the farm "cause we're old" and follow them there. NO. You and Da Doo Ron Ron would get excellent money for the farm. Then you move to a continuing care community in VA or NC. 

FF'd through Fernanda. Can't stand Ari either. I think for most men it would be uncomfortable to have your wife's ex be her "best friend" and crying towel. Three's a crowd. Does Leandro still have that GF? If so, he should have brought her along, even for a weekend. 

I think Larry had a management job at a McDonald's? Shame he let it  go. I can't stand his son. So his Dad is not good at hard construction labor (though we saw his Dad work hard physically many times). Then add intense heat, humidity, and the relocation stress of a new area. And his son treating him like trash all day. 

Lawrence is in early 20s but looks 40 and bitter. Took all his issues out on his Dad. Some of the WORST people I have ever met in my long life were in the property rental business, like this guy. (And Potthasts, anyone?) 

If Lawrence had any decency he would have apologized to his father, too, as EACH of them were part of the problem. Calling your Dad lazy on national television was below the belt. And stupid, if you wanted him and his wife around to help with your children. Another decency would have to been to HELP HIM and Jenny find other work. But no, he had to throw his toys out of the pram. 

Cortney is a total bore. I don't know if she's druggy or slow or what, but she IS lazy. Her sole ambition is to find a rich guy so (in her mind) she does not have to lift a finger. I'd say she's average-pretty and there are thousands of other women at least that attractive where she is. and have done something with a steady career by their late 30s. It's 2022 not 1952.

The fact that her landlord can treble her rent in one fell swoop is scary, I know there's a lot of states that let them do that & it makes me thankful that I live somewhere that has actual rules.

Do Steven and Olga not know where babies come from?  Second unexpected pregnancy Jesus.  They both seem too immature to be married.  Olga insisted on moving to one of the most expensive places in the country and now they are squabbling.  Do they think they will be able to pay for two separate residences when they are scraping by to afford one?

Some places did have huge reductions during the pandemic allowing people to afford much nicer places than they otherwise could so it may not be much of an increase over the pre-pandemic rent.

I just rolled in from biking to the store for MY specific flavor of soda that I need to sleep (hot flashes; I wake up and suck in iced soda from the bedside insulated tumbler about 6 times a night).  

They were out of my flavor! Someone else hasfigured out it's magic! I had to settle for another flavor. 

Fought my way in through the fireworks-swollen crowds and tuned in to Mariah looking like a backup singer for Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem.
