You have two good choices for a sun in the alpha centauri system, to let your planet orbit around and you chose the third one where an earth like planet couldn't exist. This show in a nutshell.

How about you send thousands of humans to colonize a largely unknown system, and the only defense system they have is a secret one almost no one can access.

So now we have robots who are secretive ninja assassins who decide to frame Will's Robot. Interesting. 
I liked how John decided to take a walk out the back door seconds before the killer robots broke in the front door to murder the humans.  That's some contrived plotting lucky timing on his part. 

Maureen has only been on the Alpha Centauri base for a couple of hours and she is already running the place?!

they are just trying to get the Maureen character as far from the "homemaker in space" of the original series as they can and went way too far. it's infuriating. 

happy this thing is being put out of our misery.

The thing that annoyed me most in this episode was the doctor promising that Will, with a massive heart injury, was certain to survive.  I knw they were trying to give cover to the parents bugging out to deal with robots, but that required some extra handwaving.

I'm confused.  Why was Robot with the red face?  He has the red face when he's evil?  When or why did that happen?  Was it because John yelled at him and hit him, so then he went and found Dr. Smith?  And when he's with her, he's bad?

I must have either missed a huge plot point or fallen asleep because I had no idea why he was at the dam.  He knew the three bad robots were there trying to break the turbines?

Also confused what exactly Judy was going to do to try to blow up the turbine.  You have to swim underwater to do that?  Why can't you just control it from one of those iPad things?  Seems like an excuse to get Judy to take off the jacket and bare a bit of cleavage, although very briefly and limited view.
