arc January 8, 2022 Share January 8, 2022 I’m really curious to see how much they’ll do the “WandaVision” thing of doing homages to classic TV. If they’d done a second season of WV, they would almost definitely have to keep doing it, but a spin-off gives them more license to ditch it if they can’t find a plausible reason for it. I'm torn, because I like Kathryn Hahn and I love Aubrey Plaza, so seeing them onscreen together could be great, but judging by the trailer Agatha gets free of the spell Wanda put on her because Wanda died which is just another reminder of how very much they fucked it up, and despite the potential of the cast I'm not down with that. If it's going to be that closely related to what happened before, I probably won't be able to enjoy it, so....yeah. The show runner for Wandavision is also working on this series, so I have hope that it will treat Wanda, Agatha, and everyone else with more respect. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/124196-anticipation-for-agatha-it-was-her-all-along/#findComment-8416491

Spartan Girl August 12, 2024 Share August 12, 2024 Someone pointed out that this storyline was actually WANDA’S in the comics. But hey it’s not the first time the MCU has siphoned off a female hero’s comic personality/storyline for another one because they view all women in interchangeable… *seethes in Sharon Carter* 3 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/124196-anticipation-for-agatha-it-was-her-all-along/#findComment-8433076

Like how she says in the beginning of the trailer that Wanda took all of her magic. Like Agatha was trying to steal Wanda's magic FIRST, Wanda just beat her at her own game! I'm hoping that line was taken out of context, or that the truth is going to come out at some point. After Multiverse of Madness, I don't trust the MCU anymore. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/124196-anticipation-for-agatha-it-was-her-all-along/#findComment-8434098

I think one or another trailer implied Agatha gathered these witches as sacrificial lambs / human shields so she could make it to the end of the Witches Road, not so she could bring them all along to glory. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/124196-anticipation-for-agatha-it-was-her-all-along/#findComment-8444816
Anela September 19, 2024 Share September 19, 2024 Of course this premieres, weeks after I get rid of Disney. I wasn’t familiar with the characters, but I liked Wandavision, when it aired.
