Aulty September 17, 2021 Share September 17, 2021 Quote Makeovers take over when Ruby gives Otis a magnetic revamp and Hope tones the school down. Way down. Elsewhere, Eric and Adam look to level up. Released on Netflix on September 17th 2021 Link to comment
Zonk September 17, 2021 Share September 17, 2021 Yeah that's going to get ugly, ewith principle facist. Glad that Adam could express himself and it didn't take multiple episodes. Otis still helping people out, even though he doesn't want to. It's just in his blood. 2 Link to comment
Aulty September 17, 2021 Author Share September 17, 2021 It took them almost 2 full episodes to set up the season. Not surprised how the Otis and Ruby story is going and that he is still quite good at talking to people. I did not expect Isaac to come clean about the voice message so soon, or at all. 5 Link to comment

Yeah, it's almost like the writers were shocked that people found him manipulative, deceitful and creepy in season two, because they apparently all thought he was great. So they're trying to correct things by having him be nothing but noble and supportive. Doesn't work. George Robinson is a very talented actor but he can't do anything to fix this character. 3 Link to comment
ahpny September 23, 2021 Share September 23, 2021 Quote I did not expect Isaac to come clean about the voice message so soon, or at all. Clearly, this was going to come out at some point by some manner, but this is not how I expected it to be revealed. The reaction, however, is pretty much exactly what was expected, and Isaac probably knew that was well. A guess he gets some points for revealing it knowing it risked torpedoing the relationship he wanted, but its was still an extraordinarily creepy and duplicitous thing to do. Not easily forgiven. 3 Link to comment
festivus October 5, 2021 Share October 5, 2021 Well this is gonna suck. Part of my fun is all the different looks of the students. Especially Eric and Lily. I do have to say I love the dick wall. I mean, I wish it was something else but I love artistic graffiti. 1 Link to comment
Mr. R0b0t November 2, 2021 Share November 2, 2021 -Um, keeping a pet in your locker overnight? Ruby is dead to me, full-stop. -I really enjoyed the fellas "going all the way" dance up the stairs. -Peaches meets a cappella was certainly something I didn't know I needed in my life. -Interesting how they finally addressed the dirty deleted text message from the end of S2. Probably the only way to attempt a redemption of Isaac 2 Link to comment

I am stunned to read the writers thought Isaac a great character last season. He's appalling, and this course correction they're apparently attempting with this episode does not work for me at all. I'm glad Maeve took a hard pass on his breakfast invitation, but I'm also quite sure I haven't seen the last of him and I am not pleased. With Adam, I actually buy the changes in him, because I see him doing the work, and struggling with it. Isaac is just suddenly completely different. I loved seeing Adam go ask the teacher for help; it's another indication he's trying to improve himself, not just his relationship with Eric. I love Eric, but he made me angry in the picnic scene. People have a right to change their mind about having sex, and the response to "I don't want to do this" is not to throw a fit. I understand he thought it was for a different reason, and people - especially teenagers - don't respond perfectly, so I don't so much care that he did it, but that when Adam came over and explained, Eric didn't apologize for the way he'd reacted. Jakob annoys me, but "Who was that rude person?" was a delight, because everyone else just seems to accept that Ruby's dreadful behavior is hunky dory. But, oh gods, this baby storyline is making Jean so stupid. "You drove me batshit crazy being around all the time, so you know what let's do - you and your teenage daughter, who is my son's ex-girlfriend, should both move in (to a house with one shower). Sure, we're still getting to know each other, have been back together for five minutes, and the kids will be off to college after this term, but doesn't that sound like a good idea?" 1 4 Link to comment
