WendyCR72 April 3, 2021 Share April 3, 2021 Airing on April 6, 2021: After Crosby's old army buddy is attacked in an apparent drug deal gone wrong, the team's quest for answers uncovers a dangerous web of conspiracy. Also, Jess questions his relationship with Sarah after an unexpected encounter. 1 Link to comment
Xeliou66 April 7, 2021 Share April 7, 2021 This was a good episode, extremely intricate plot. The start was unusual with how it skipped backwards 24 hours before getting to the case. The case was very suspenseful although it was somewhat hard to follow at times, the “sextortion” plot was interesting of how they would entrap people and all, but I was a bit unsure of the relationships between the various players, such as the organization setting up the scam and the gang. It was a complex episode that I might need to rewatch. The investigation was good and I liked everyone’s role, I miss Clinton but I like Ortiz, Crosby has grown on me a lot since the start of the show. I don’t care at all about the characters personal lives. 1 Link to comment
mxc90 April 7, 2021 Share April 7, 2021 How many ways can they hide Hana's bump? Crosby has been living at Hana's place all that time???!!! Why is Zadie asking him to stay? She she should move out. Hana can't put up with this! With these crimes, how is Jess not bringing in some other divisions of the FBI to assist? All this mess and bloody trail of dead bodies started because the 3 fools couldn't hide burner phones??!! Was it so important to use the inmates to make the calls. Those other Lontocs chasing Brendan all over town couldn't make calls and then toss the phones? Brendan maybe the stupidest out of all the criminals appearing on this show. His ex-wife is some woman to put up with his coming home drunk, complaining, losing his police job, his temper, his lying and didn't think about divorcing him. Meanwhile, his supposed new girlfriend Kellie is trying to get him killed at every opportunity. Everyone looks away from the video of the young girl and there's Jess staring, giving a strange look. The agents never considered if Michelle could have gotten the tattoo after the video was taken? "Badges visible, these women will be terrified if they think we are ICE", says the FBI agent pointing a gun entering the room. Of course! They won't be terrified because it's Jess. After deleting the app, couldn't Matthew just destroy his phone/computer and just ignore the sextortion? How would this get back to his wife? Maybe he put all his real information in his dating app's profile. Maybe I'm missing something. 2 Link to comment
Chaos Theory April 7, 2021 Share April 7, 2021 (edited) From prison guard to fugitive in three easy steps. This is the kind of episode I like. Even when personal drama is mixed in there it’s not the A plot. Yes both Crosby and Jess had there thing going on but the show wasn’t bogged down with their drama like it was with OG FBI. I am getting really bored with that show. Plus this show had a cool gun fight in a train station. I was pretty sure Kellie would end up being “The Head of The Snake” after she turned on prison dude guy. But still I liked the story overall of teachers from a foreign country brought in thinking they would be foreign exchange teachers but turned into faux prostitutes for incarcerated gang bangers who didn’t turn on their gang during a mass roundup so they could earn a living even in prison until the taskforce came a looking and prison guard dude freaked out and welll... Shit went bbbbaaaaaddddd!!!!! Edited April 7, 2021 by Chaos Theory 1 Link to comment
illdoc April 7, 2021 Share April 7, 2021 Question: Did the robber flag down the cab while still wearing his mask???? If so, why would the cabbie stop (and did he continue wearing it in the cab)? If not, since the robber was facing the camera, wouldn't they have gotten a picture of his face, rather than having to track down the cabbie/tattoo? Link to comment

Works on shame and fear the same way the IRS and other telephone scams do. OF course there are alot of people who will take a step back and say...Hey I don't owe the IRS 10,000 dollars so they have no reason to kick my door down in ten minutes. But there are those who will immediately jump into panic mode when confronted with screaming people over the phone and internet pull out their credit card. Those are the people these scams work on. Plus the dude didn't want his wife to know he was flirting with women on the internet so he had an added reason to keep things a secret. Not to mention when confronted with an actual sex crime people might panic a little more then they normally might. Edited April 7, 2021 by Chaos Theory 1 Link to comment

Cabbies need there fare any way they can take it. Link to comment

If someone just sends him an inappropriate picture (not saved to his computer/phone), he didn't ask for and he deletes, is that the same as someone purposely downloading underage porn and can be arrested? What proof does the scammer have on him? Matthew and the other victims panicked big time. Next time, he needs to bring a bat with him when confronting. Link to comment
UnknownK April 7, 2021 Share April 7, 2021 I am sure the FBI is busy finding people who make the underage porn and host it then some guy who received one picture on his computer and promptly deleted it. Intent is a key piece of most laws. Link to comment

Intent is a key piece of most laws. But I think that’s the point. There was an episode of Leverage where a prison was full of “citizens”. People convicted of bullshit crimes who got over sentenced to fill a private prison and didn’t say boo about it because citizens don’t really know enough about the law like criminals do. They are prone to taking the first deal thrown their way because they want to make things right. (I a problem missing a step but that us the gist). The same here. You throw a dirty picture at a guy who is stepping out on his wife even just a little and he is likely to panic a lot more then he might have otherwise. It’s hard to know who he was more afraid of the law or his wife. So being a soldier he walked right into a bad situation thinking he could fight his way out of it. At the uncle’s house, he put down the gun before he went to check on the noises he heard. What criminal does that? He should attend Bad Guy 101 class. 😂 Err, so Jess is already in love with Sarah Allen??? Ahhh come on! 🙄 Edited April 7, 2021 by SnazzyDaisy 3 Link to comment
AnnA April 10, 2021 Share April 10, 2021 It seems I'm the only one who didn't think this episode was good. Except for the tie in to the prison inmates, the plot was not that unusual. Link to comment
