Just Here July 27, 2021 Share July 27, 2021 (edited) Trailer for the Second Season: From the accompanying description: Quote New Season of Departure is streaming August 5 on Peacock: https://pck.tv/3ygdZGu Synopsis: A new season of Departure follows Kendra Malley (Emmy® Award winner Archie Panjabi) as she’s recruited to investigate the derailment of an experimental high-speed train in rural Michigan. Pressure mounts for Kendra and her team to crack the puzzle as the small town reels in shock, and the world demands answers. Their investigation reveals a plethora of disconnected events and a range of potential suspects with believable motives: a disillusioned employee, a local anti-technology politician, the tech mogul who developed the train’s software...and even a man with ties to a Mexican drug cartel. shapeshifter August 15, 2021 Share August 15, 2021 Also asked on the 2.1 thread: Season 1 is now all on the free version of Peacock, whereas only this first episode of season 2 is on free Peacock. I'm considering signing up for a month to see the rest of season 2, but sometimes those subscriptions are a bear to cancel. Does anyone know when season 2 will be available on free Peacock? Jacks-Son September 10, 2021 Share September 10, 2021 Full season two (Six episodes) are airing free on Peacock here. It's probably a Comcast thing. I think what makes "Departure" so good is the outstanding performance by the lead actress. Emmy & Oscar winner Archie Panjabi. Her take no prisoners and never back down attitude is a nice "Fvck You" to the haters & criminals. 1 1 Link to comment

The show is often ridiculous and Kendra seems to magically run into into witnesses/victims even if she's not at the crash sites but it doesn't make the show any less watchable. I've just binged both seasons and enjoyed them both. Always follow the money when investigating a crash! Season 3's ill-fated departure will be on a ferry. I couldn't find anything on when it will be on Peacock. Link to comment
