Dowel Jones 9,868 April 19, 2021 On AMC, E3 was doubled up with E2, aired yesterday. That was one hell of a way to initiate your boy into the thug life, Colm. I hope there's something more to this than just rival gangs blowing each other to pieces. 1 Share this post Link to post

I hope there's something more to this than just rival gangs blowing each other to pieces. Marian is something else too. Apparently they’ve become stinking rich. Maybe they aren’t building all these skyscrapers when the sons were little boys as in the flashback but they could have shielded their children from the crime. Instead they want to initiate them. Sean couldn’t be more than 12 in that flashback? Look in contras at Alex and Shannon, Ed Dumanis kids. Alex is involved in the criminal enterprise, not sure Shannon is. But Alex doesn’t ge his hands dirty. And Alex has blood lust so Finn and Marians little lesson eventually took. I liked the back story with Lale and her wanting vengeance from Afridi, the Kurds and the Turks, talk abou blood feuds. But she engages in all kinds of crime to support her people’s struggle? That’s some wrinkle on current geopolitics that UK TV does better than American TV. Le Bureau also shows perspectives of non Western peoples as well. Share this post Link to post
khyber 2,190 April 28, 2021 I've decided if I just view the fight scenes like a Bruce Lee battle, then I don't get distracted by the ridiculousness of it all. I'm enjoying the series. Share this post Link to post
ElectricBoogaloo 77,008 May 7, 2021 Wow, Lale really has no fucks left to give. She was willing to let her sister and nieces die in the name of her cause. I guess I should admire her dedication but damn. Interesting that Sean was the one who couldn't pull the trigger back then and now he's willing kill everyone in a traveller encampment for revenge. Meanwhile, Billy ended up shooting bucket head but he's now considered the Fredo of the family. Elliot needs to slow his roll with Shannon. I'm pretty sure her dad would not approve of his daughter hooking up with the hired muscle. Obviously I'm doing something wrong because I haven't been able to afford to buy a $160 million island or a $30 million yacht. Share this post Link to post
