I don't want it to be the kids, because there's too much baggage there, plus the time jump would be too great if we want them to be adults. I don't want any magical hand-waving that they're actually older because of "Grimm years" being different than "regular years" or anything like that, either.

I love the idea of a female lead, though. I do hope the show goes back to its roots, which were more campy and fun and actually more thoughtful and clever, and that the re-boot has less of the whole convoluted business with royals and conspiracies and retcons and raping.
