foxfreakinmulder October 16, 2019 Share October 16, 2019 Quote Since when do they combine Blinds with Battles? They could've squeezed those last 5 singers in on a previous Blinds show if they didn't spend so much time on back stories no one wants to hear. I like that they don't waist time showing us the singer watching a screen to see who they will be Battling. And I like that the coaches now have a save. Kelly looked like she was in a corset and Gwen looked like she was in space suit but at least she could lean back unlike the top she wore in the blinds that made her looked stiff as a board. Gwen finally got her little girl. I swear that's the only reason she turned not because she thought she was a good singer but because Kelly and Blake said she sounded young. 3 Link to comment
lonestar October 16, 2019 Share October 16, 2019 I used to adore Kelly Clarkson, now I can't stand to listen to her. There is also something off with Gwen's facial coloring, wrong makeup or something. She looks real odd on this show. 2 Link to comment

I don’t mind it - it’s better than the audition recap episodes we’ve had in the past. I like that we didn’t get a single montaged audition. Sure, we had a few slightly shortened songs, but for the most part it seemed like everyone got a good bit of screen time while they were singing (rather than Carson’s voice-over). I’ll happily tolerate backstory sections since I fast-forward through them anyway, and a shared final auditions/first battles as long as it means we don’t get those awful montaged auditions. 3 Link to comment

I don't remember them starting the Battles with the Blinds but you're right it is better than a recap episode, I never watch those on any of these type of shows. I'm glad they didn't have montaged auditions too, hopefully they won't the rest of the season. 1 Link to comment

Somehow the clear, shiny lip gloss is even worse than her signature red lipstick. For a hot second on Monday night, I thought I was watching Rain Man - what was Charlie Babbitt doing onscreen? I refer, of course to the "I sell GOLD! Gold bars bigger than your DICK!" guy. How the hell did he make it through? 1 Link to comment

I am dying of second-hand embarrassment over most of the things that come out of her mouth. So cringe-worthy. Blake must either stay drunk 24-7 or have the patience of a saint because I would not last the weekend with her. Being on this show has done her no favours. I liked her a lot better before I 'got to know her.' 4 Link to comment
Chyromaniac October 18, 2019 Share October 18, 2019 Loved Carson’s face when the family backstage started clapping along to the (iirc) final blind. It was like, “okay, I guess we’re doing this now...” -claps along too- 1 Link to comment
