Lindsey Arnold was on dishing days a few weeks ago and they asked her if she knew who the father was and she didn't and she said she asked who the baby father was but they wouldn't tell her who the father was so if it is Tripp it's not going to come out for awhile.

ETA...and I STILL think, instead of this retconned friend of Liz, it should have been Sarah who came back having transitioned.
The UK soaps are so much better at writing the LGBT characters a lot of them are frontburner it's sad how bad GH is at it not that the other soaps are any better at it.

Unpopular opinion I actually think we're supposed to be rooting for Sami with all RC flaws Sami is actually a character I think he writes well and honestly I prefer this than the heroine they tried to make her into a few years ago.

Realistically I think social services would have to be involved since Allie ran off and abandoned the baby and would sign guardianship of the baby probably to Sami until they decide on custody but this is a soap lol.

Yes, we don't even need spoilers to know that it will come out that John collapsed while arguing with Sami. We will then have ENDLESS scenes with Marlena, Belle, Will, Sonny, Eric, Nicole, Hope, Rafe, Steve, Kayla, the hospital orderly, the dry cleaner and the guy who picks up the trash at their condo all screaming at Sami and blaming her for John's aneurysm. Even though anyone with half a brain knows that an argument can't cause an aneurysm that will be irrelevant. This is Salem and Sami is responsible for every. single. thing. that goes wrong. Ever.
Marlena told Sami it wasn't her fault

I'm not really rooting for Nicole and eric but I like the fact that Eric is going to do something wrong he's usually so goody goody lol.
to be honest I'm almost positive Allie will change her mind since the actress is on contract and that Tripp will end up being the baby father

Why did Sonny and Will just assume Gabi would be totally fine with her daughter moving with them to a different state? Has it ever been explained why Ari lives with them rather than Gabi? Or are we to assume they actually have shared custody that we just never see?
Pretty sure they share custody.

Actually, there are several possible exits for Gabi that I would enjoy. Her running away from her feelings for Chad, her moving away with Sonny and Will and daughter Arianna, her and Li Shin taking a helicopter off to some Private Island. Lots of good options there.
I feel like Rafe's intruder may be Daddy Eduardo. Just a guess.

If they spent months talking about the ins and outs of Abigail's DID and how her alters work - which has been debunked here in the real world as not a real thing - surely they could spend half as much time dealing with actual illnesses.
And many shows have been credited with doing so. Post-partum depression storylines, bipolar storylines, PTSD storylines...all have been done on daytime, and done well, and been entertaining and even award-winning.
There's a reason so many of us watch this dreck - we remember how genuinely good and poignant it used to be.
I agree I watch hollyoaks and there very serious about there mental health issues for example a character killed himself a few weeks ago because of depression and they had to spoil it weeks ahead of time because it might trigger someone in the audience and if there doing a self harm story etc they have to warn the audience at the beginning of the show and they also have a hotline to call for help after the show of anybody is experiencing these issues.
I remember when soaps used to do very serious stories that we could learn from these days the social issues they try to do is so bad.

Ciaras symptoms seem more like with pregnancy than poisoning the fainting but whose to say she just doesn't have a stomach bug kinda silly to rush to the conclusion that she was posioned.
