I know she got a lot of praise during the Oscar storyline but I think she might have looked better against Oscar who was completely terrible. Today, she didn’t play Carly any different than Josslyn so I don’t think she has any range. I think the actors playing Trina and Cameron far outshine her.
It doesn't help that they had teen s like Amber and kmc who had much harder storylines at her age.
All I could think of is Lucas should feel that way about Carly that joss feels about nelle for ruining her family.

I hope there not planning on bringing DJ back to life he died of SIDs.I think they was one of only American soaps that have done a SIDs death that didn't involve a baby switch.

It's still hard for me with Ben though. I mean the man was a fucking serial killer! I know they did the mental illness thing but they didn't really explain it enough for it to work. Just saying, "He has a metal illness!" isn't enough. They put no effort into it but they never do. Though, if I'm being honest, if I liked Ben more I probably wouldn't care lol.
But the problem always comes when they try to make people who've done heinous shit into heroes/saints that everyone has to love and root for. That's what they've done with Abigail and Ben. And what they seem like they might be doing with Kristen but they haven't fully gone there yet. They haven't done that with Gabi imo. They allow her to be seen as a flawed/even bad person and that makes it easier to take imo.
IA Gabi is pretty much getting the Sami treatment

Honestly I'm more annoyed by the Kristen has chose words for Gabi Kristen who pretended to be nicole and pretty much raped Brady has no room to talk.

Characters like Sami and Nicole would be slaughtered when they did crap like lying about there babies paternity but lani does it and she's the town saint.I even think marlena got more crap for having an affair with John and when the truth about belle came out.

In any case, it seems clear to me that 'they have a mental illness so just forget all the bad stuff they did and root for them' is the main takeaway the writers want us to have with both Abigail and Ben.
I think they might be talking about when abby went crazy after Ben tried to kill her.

The whole Gabi and abby rivalry is so unbalanced it gets brought up about what Gabi did to Abby but nothing about what saint abby did to Gabi that's my problem and they have both done shitty things to each other please Gabi is one of the few characters that actually pays I mean she certainly pays more than Kristen and Kate does.She spent more time in prison for abbys crime while abby got a pat on the head as usual while Gabi got beat to death can't have anymore kids and her daughter hating on her.I have no doubt Gabi will be the pariah again when her schemes come out which I'll be happy about since she will be out of this stupid storyline and can hopefully something not interesting

I have never been able to fully understand him.
My biggest problem with the Gabi and abby is it's not balanced at all when she's done some shitty things to Gabi just as much as Gabi has to her mentally ill or not.
I've watched some DID stories on other soaps and none of them came off as smug as abby has

Speaking of marlena has she even mentioned will bring in prison which is weird since he's supposed to be her fav grandchild.

I feel like this show is legitimately exciting rn and like the turn some of the characters have taken. CM/JJ has been acting his ass off and I love seeing he give Eric and Brady hell. I have never liked boring Lani but intrigued by her weird friendship and bond w Kristen. I don’t care about Stefano it’s v heavy handed when he’s finally revealed he’s gonna look different or be brainchipped into someone. I kinda want when Gina’s portrait is revealed it’s just a mass of deranged squiggles.
Also something strange that maybe part of a future plot point or may be dropped but Doug and Julie mentioned Doug’s Place was destroyed in a flood or fire. Wonder how that happened or is related to some of the other fuckshit going on.
Yeah I'm definitely interested in the characters in not usually invested in like what going on with Brady and Kristen and the baby,JJ story definitely he works better as a dark character,will bring in prison and how he got there ect
