Laura Prepon was the worst for not being able to keep a straight face. It got to the point the writers must've re-wrote Donna that way. Mind you Laura Prepon's skills as an actress... Meh. I should go back and see what Topher Grace has been up to. His character in Spider-Man 3 was essentially Eric Foreman.

Chad Gallagher has to be the Lionel Hutz of PR people then. This has been a complete gong show from the start. The public has the records with the names redacted and knows what happened due to the police report. Why make up stuff? The Jill and Jessa interview is a last ditch attempt at saving the Duggar money train. There has been talk of a spin off with Jill and Jessa and this is to warm the public up to it.

Honestly? And I realize the irony of saying this since I am on a Duggar forum. It needs to die down. I have way too many friends who are survivors of sexual assault that can't go onto Facebook, news sites, etc without being triggered. I can only imagine how awful the Duggar women feel right now. At this point it's only doing more damage than good. The more people fuel the fire, the more the Duggar defenders get riled up and vow to stay beside the family forever. It dies down and the Duggars are pushed out of the spotlight, the Duggar defenders will forget about the Duggars and latch onto the Bateses (who are just as problematic) and Willis clan. You'll have the odd "But it was a miiiiiiiiiistake!" apologist but take someone out of the spotlight and the public quickly turns to the latest and greatest toy and forgets about the old toy. I am thrilled Kim K announced her pregnancy and Caitlyn Jenner is trending. Now we need the BRF to release pictures of Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Therefore pushing the Duggars completely out. Think we can get Buckingham Palace on it?

There's no real evidence that the Duggars were laundering money. It's just another way to capitalize on Duggar hysteria. That site claimed they were shut down by the Duggars the first time around because of Jana's upcoming courtship to Tim Tebow. So take it with a massive grain of salt.

The Holts are still semi-friendly with the Duggars or like to appear to be. About 3-4 years ago, the Holt family Facebook account would go around defending Josh and the Duggars.

Technically though you shouldn't be able to get those records through a FOIA request due to the sensitive nature of the subject. I never dealt with police molestation records but I did deal with the hospital aspect of molestation records and those were always kept confidential except to the staff treating the patient to the point the child brought in would be given a decoy name in the system. Some police departments go overboard (admittedly so). But in my experience it's like pulling teeth to get anything that didn't concern you without going through miles and miles of red tape. I posted above what I had to go through in order to access police records. And mine weren't even close to the gravity of this situation. We actually thought we just had to file a FOIA request for the records since they were pretty innocuous until we went to police headquarters and they go SURPRISE! We need you to go through all these steps first and oh we need a proposal of what you're doing with the data from the records, etc. It was pretty time intensive. Although they were nice enough to waive the fee for the advanced background check I needed to access the records. I don't exactly believe In Touch's claims they got it through FOIA unless JB and Michelle agreed to have the records public in the first place. Although if JB and Michelle did along with the dragging down Joy to sign to have the original records destroyed would reinforce my belief JB is retaining Lionel Hutz as legal counsel.

Apparently it's been an open secret for quite a while. I've been discussing with a few people and you see those things online randomly from people who claim to have been in ATI but you just think it was exaggerated. Looking back you'd see stories pop up once in a while about Josh fondling his sister while she slept from supposed ATI insiders but it being the Internet and all, you don't know what's true. Additionally if I recall correctly Razing Ruth helped the sin in the camp rumor gain traction on TWoP (although I don't think she was the one that brought it over) but her version was vague. Then RR turned out to be a fraud. I have a very hard time believing the records were just given out to anyone unless some very unethical (and probably illegal) things occurred in order to get those records. I think it's more plausible someone who was initially interviewed obtained them as per their legal right. Mind you TMZ gets a lot of their stories through unethical and illegal means. :-/

I have no idea if these things are public record or not in Arkansas. When I had to access police records about 5 years ago for non-legal reasons I had to go through an advanced criminal background check and sign more confidentiality forms than Donald Duck has nephews. I also had to provide why I needed access to those records, what they'd be used for, the works. These sorts of things aren't public record where I lived. And there would've been hell to pay if I had leaked any personal details at all. We were given photocopies of the police reports but the police were breathing down our necks the entire time. You bet your ass those things were secured to the nth degree. And those police records weren't of a sensitive nature like this one! However if it concerned me, I could access the report with proof of ID, etc. I just couldn't request someone else's record without jumping through a whole bunch of red tape. If this wasn't public record and a journalist went to all that trouble and didn't get caught? Heads are going to roll at that police station. This is why I suspect it was one of the j'slaves or JD/Joe (whichever one was interviewed) that obtained the report and leaked it. I could be completely wrong and Joe Blow can walk in and request it. But why now? If it could be so easily accessed (as said in that thread), how did it take this long? That thread was posted in 2007.

She probably suffers from some pretty severe survivor's guilt. But serious props to her for doing her damnedest (well what she realistically can) to protect the others.

I do not honestly get why everyone is so bitter. It's actually hilarious. They change the rules so the Oilers don't win. And yet again, the Oilers win. If the Sabres had won, they're would've been bitching about rewarding intentional tanking. The Sabres fought tooth and nail to keep the draft the way it was so they would have the best shot at McDavid. And they intentionally tanked by having a fire sale. They still get Eichel so it's no big loss. The Coyotes all of a sudden decided to tank too in order to get the best shot at McDavid and Eichel. They are not being rewarded for intentionally tanking. The Oilers just plain sucked under Eakins. They got the spark back under Nelson. There was no planned tank job. If there was, Eakins would've finished out the season hands down. I am glad the Sabres and Coyotes were not rewarded with McDavid for tanking on purpose. And the hatred on HFBoards and Reddit is sheer hilarity. It's not like other teams have sucked hard intentionally and built through high picks in the draft for a few years in a row, am I right? Oh wait...
