  1. I actually looked up other Calvinist/Reformists ala Charles Spurgeon and came up thinking that Tuckney, Hoyle or Fulke were good choices.
  2. I think this is as close as they get.
  3. Ah yes. Tozer also known as Tozer the Tozerian, Tozer the Destructor, Tozer the Traveler, Volguus Zildrohar and Lord of the Sebouillia
  4. I don't know if its the tilt of Sierra's head, the half-cant smirksmile or what, but she reminds me very much of JillRod somehow in this picture.
  5. Jingerjirl thats not your voice, I have like seasons of episodes to back it up. Stop it :(
  6. Had it happen earlier, almost didn't realize it. Was very strange. Forum gremlins. Only shoulder length, that's about all it would ever get to before it would start to look like I combed it out with a bear. Always wish I had hair like yours, although I know I don't for real. I suspect I want something more in-between. :P It has been GREAT for driving with the windows down though. It's about to the point where I can (almost sort of) make a tiny little faux mohawk with it now so I don't just have this weird blob of hair.
  7. Re; assorted hair chat. I actually buzzed allllllll my hair off at the beginning of June. My hair has always been very thin/fine (think toddler hair) which runs on both sides of the family. The exception is my aunt (dad's sister) -- my grandmother shaved her head when she was a baby as she had heard Indian mothers did this to ensure hair growth (or something). Sure enough, either lucky genetics or what have you -- my aunt has the only thick hair in the family. ANYWAY. Since I decided to start college (real college!) this year and I'd been threatening to shave my head since high school I did it as a "fresh start" sort of thing. Honestly, if you want to go for it, I say DO IT. I'm taking gelatin, biotin and vitamin e (all part of my general supplements as is) but all are said to help promote good hair growth. It's not doing too badly, I think. My only complaint is that I suddenly have WAY WAY WAY more silver hair. I don't know where it all came from. Sorry about the terrible images (day of the cut and at one month), but I figured it might help to see the progress (I'm documenting it on my facebook as it is).
  8. Might as well just name it Meet the New Boss, Same as the Old Boss - cuz that's what's gonna happen.
  9. When I make fried chicken, I add Old Bay to my flour seasoning. I don't tell anyone that, because it's my secret.
  10. It was a few pages back, but whoever recommended "I Fired God" -- thank you. I read it in a little under 4 hours, though I was so upset at the FIRST page I almost couldn't begin it. I've got "Girl at the End of the World" as well, but I think I'm going to need a break between reading them as its so frustratingly upsetting.
  11. From the picture on there, I thought she sort of favors Pa Keller quite heavily.
  12. But then where is the rest of Derick's left arm?
  13. Someone on another forum I frequent found this from two years ago posted on Reddit. The originating account has since been deleted but, hey. Thought it was interesting. https://www.reddit.com/r/thatHappened/comments/1kn61t/totally_true_story_about_josh_duggar_getting/ Edit -- forgot to add this is the accompanying image for the Reddit Thread title in case anyone can't get it to work. https://i.imgur.com/v6cVkZY.png
  14. I do wonder if this is why we heard the rumors of Josiah going to Marjorie's dad asking for educational/job advice. Maybe he really DOES want to get out of that house/environment. Maybe they DO know, (or knew some of it prior to this anyway) and wanted to help him. Hell, maybe the courtship was/is a rouse to get him out (I have dreams about that, don't burst my bubble) with a good friend who was willing to play a part in order to help him. At any rate if the courtship does still continue, I hope that instead of Marjorie going to the Duggars, I hope Josiah goes THERE ala Bin.
  15. Since the marriage is [likely] going to happen, I'm at least glad to know they've known each (as much as one does in Duggar Land) other for a while, if not been attached/attracted to each other. It's not much but at least they aren't complete strangers... sorta.
  16. Well, I guess you're right -- Josh isn't as formal as Winkie there. ;)
