That was so kind of you. I certainly send a return hug. You and I are fortunate to have good memories to get us thru the tough times. The sense of smell is one of the biggest triggers for humans I understand. I can easily recall my Mom, my Grandmother and my hubby from scents they wore. I stopped a gentlemen in the grocery store to comment on his after shave because it was the one my hubby wore all the time. The man seemed really pleased that it brought me comfort! My hubby was troubled by Parkinson's and Dementia ---- not really ill -- but required a lot of care. I was blessed to outlive him and care for him, as I prayed God would see fit. My life is different now, but I can go in peace when the time comes. I wish you joy and happiness in whatever way you can find.

I am wiping my eyes too, just reading this. I lost my hubby of 40 years about 4 years ago and we often talked about our small Church wedding and the garden/home reception at our dearest friend's home. It was so simple and people who loved us both were there. Not 700 of our "dearest friends"

Sounds perfect to me! What a waste of time these vacations are with most of the housewives. Rarely do they get into the culture of a country, unless it involved drinking. I think my favorite trip of the franchise was going to Holland on Beverly Hills. Very interesting to see the countryside, despite the hostess. I hated Iceland, at least where they were. A friend sent me pictures and videos of an Iceland trip and it was gorgeous. I cannot imagine the place the HW stayed at, so dull and boring. Except for the fights, if you are into that sort if thing

Camille Grammer: Deliciously Pernicious
oceanview replied to BBHN's topic in The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills
At Baltimore Betty... my error, it was another red dress. Check out the Media Postings on Beverly Hills forum to see the plain red dress I was referring to earlier. This one is really beautiful and very becoming, unlike the plain one. You are right. I was just posting the correction when your remark came thru. I hope Baltimore Betty sees it too. Good grief!!! -

Well if you find it, I know you will look much better in it than Lisa did in a later picture when she bent over in it. Really, she was a mess. It might have been a different dress, but it was red. With all the money they all spend o clothes, you would think they could get them to fit better. This picture of all of them is lovely though. -

I commented on page 6, with reference to someone else accidently. It should have mentioned you. I truly understand about losing a pet and hope you have perhaps found a new one to share your life. I thought this picture was hilarious too -

The loss of a pet is tough. I hope SCS has another pet to help cope. And thank you for the hug picture above, it is just the cutest thing EVER. -

I have a friend who needs the cbd hemp oil and swears by it for pain. Good luck -
If ALL of the above show up in any form, I may have to bury my TV in the backyard, never to be seen again. Yikes!!!!

Please…...don't give them any ideas. I used to enjoy Bethany but she is hard to swallow the last couple of years. She has everything she could want financially, and a lovely daughter, but she will never be happy. Kind of sad actually. She was on national news tonight for her charity work for flood victims. She does have great contacts and I admire her for the work done in Puerto Rico, too, but have trouble believing she is all that altruistic.

Original poster must be joking. To say Tim is conservative would be putting it mildly, even with his money, I imagine. I watched a podcast interview or something on line for an hour or more and it was fun and enlightening. He is a total creature of habit, no surprise there, and very careful with his expenditures. I think I remember something about regifting? I find him fascinating. Also, he was treated rather poorly a couple of times on the show (and other projects they tried for him) I thought and seemed ready to move on a couple of times. He surely new a good gig when he had it and took the money and ran with it....I don't have a problem with that at all. He earned it. He and Zac Posen are bitter enemies I think. I hope the new one is fun. Willing to give it a chance.

I agree with all but Tim. Under the Gunn was awful but he is still a great person to be involved in the show for me.

Could not agree more. No mentions of Nina that I have seen.....YET Maybe it will be good? From your mouth (or keyboard) to God's ears!!!! I long for the old days and rewatch from time to time, even though I know the winner...….

S10.E21: Reunion Part 2
oceanview replied to OnceSane's topic in The Real Housewives Of New York City
I think both things are part of the equation. What B. said about Adam, was really upsetting and B. is jealous of anyone who doesn't drop everything when she wants you, because you have, God Forbid, another life. -

Could not agree more about Tamara...she is a horrible person to everyone. I also think she needs to clean up her language if she wants to be a decent person. She can look beautiful and have a great body, but she is not a LADY by any stretch of the imagination -

Yes. Jolie seems compassionate and natural. Did not seem forced. I think it would be wonderful for them to go regularly to see and help. This is relationship work that might helped them both. -

I agree about wanting to be married. She hates being single, like she cannot catch a guy or something. Get over it Vicki. You don't have a lot to offer with your personality. Your taste in men is questionable, with the exception of Donn, IMO -

If I recall correctly, the doctor did say Tamara needed more surgery? Regarding Eddie, I like him and he seems to be treating Tamara with respect and loves her, though God only knows why. Eddie does not look well to me. AFIB can be tricky. Some people have it for years and never an issue and others have problems all the time. The meds you are on can be different for everyone. That conversation in the car with T. in the back seat was crazy. Should never have been filmed. That was a very private conversation regarding Eddie's health, or should have been. He looked like a deer in the headlights. Also if my husband was that ill, I would not be out drinking with the girls on a regular basis. I realize this is her "job" and probably needs the money, but it is a shame. Eddie deserves more, as this is a very frightening and dangerous situation. I hope he pulls thru okay -

I dislike sticking up for Vicki (I am going to Hell in a handbasket) but to be a little bit fair to the situation, I think she invited Michael at Steve's request. They seem to be friends. And we all know whatever Steve wants, Vicki will do. Actually, she could have had Jolie and Kelly too, and it would have been a nice gesture. They are divorced, but have a daughter. First holidays alone are hard -

When I see Gina with her hair long, or her hand covering the lower part of her face , she looks just like Brianna. It really shocks me every time -

Surely you are correct in your assessment! And Christopher Lloyd - thank you. I was wracking my brain trying to remember who he reminded me of in the short time we saw his whole face LOL Do you think SHE hired him for the show? -
S13.E04: Judge, Jury and Gina
oceanview replied to Taralightner's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I agree.....I only got to see a portion of the show here and there, so I will rewatch. I thought that Kelly's actions with the new beau pretty much desensitized her argument with Vicki. Vicki was 100% wrong (no news there) but Kelly's behavior was disgusting for its location, length of time knowing this guy perhaps, and not suitable at the first meeting with "The girls" or in a public place......IMO That was not a good way to show him off and convince everyone she is getting on with her life. Sadly, I think that is just her style and she will never change -
I blame a lot of his personality and morals on his chauvinistic father and have since the first time he showed his face on the show (the father that is). Cannot help but wonder how TRav's mother was treated.
