So they are going to have a week of stories for “thank a nurse DAY”, but didn’t have a single story for Autism awareness MONTH. (& I don’t count Meghan Kelly’s one story since I don’t watch her). SMH.

I don’t understand the Today show’s fascination with Chip & Joanna Gaines. I never watched their show but it seems there are near-daily updates on her pregnancy. Why does an NBC show care about a competing station’s show (HGTV)?

The relationships kind of bore me, I don’t want to watch a soap opera. Love the “fish out of water” aspect of the Roses vs everyone else in the town. I’ll disagree about Moira, she’s my favorite & consistently makes me laugh.

I love to watch “clean hoarders” but it seems these shows have been going for more shock value & showing the ones that turn my stomach- rivers of feces on wet carpet, dead pets, roaches, etc. Zaldo, I love your recaps & agree you should be doing more of these. “Therapist that looks like Tonya Harding” made me snort with laughter!

I had to laugh how even the show addressed Cassie always giving things away & how does she stay in business, yet she did it again! No one could figure out that the ring went in the middle between the 2 wraps? Duh!

Ha, ha- Hoda said the “Oliver” award instead of the “Olivier” award, named for Lawrence Olivier, who I’m sure Hoda has also never heard of.

Someone at the top of NBC loves birthdays or thinks the audience likes looking at cakes. Since they didn’t have any new birthdays to celebrate they brought THREE different cakes out for Sheinelle this week.

I miss Natalie. She seems intelligent & friendly, & didn’t play dumb like Savannah or have over the top reactions like Hoda.

I think there were 2 other birthday celebrations this week besides Sheinelle’s!

Is it just me or does it seem like they are rolling out a birthday cake for someone nearly every day?!

I still say Hoda is perfect for 4th hour fluff. Guests & fans like her. I just wish they had put a serious journalist in Matt’s place. I can’t imagine her filling in for Savannah & interviewing a political figure, for example.

Klg’s weight loss is really apparent as they are showing clips from 10 yrs ago. Her face was much fuller then too.

I think KLG’s nephew seems a little behind, imho. All the more reason to have a segment on World Autism day, which they ignored again! Smh. ETA: Meghan Kelly had something but I don’t watch her show or consider her show part of the Today show.

I think they should give up the 4th hour. Maybe it gets good ratings but Hoda can’t do double duty forever & KLG is not a young chicken (despite how they dress her) & seems more interested in her musical/film projects.

I didn’t watch Kathie Lee back in the Regis days, I just knew her reputation was that she talked about her kids incessantly. Anyone else think Hoda seems much more happy & comfortable when she reads a fluff piece vs “real” news? Also I know they are trying to keep KLG looking young, but the woman is 64 yrs old. The giant hoop earrings & black leather jacket look a little silly.

Remember when klg got so much flack when Cody & Cassidy were little & she talked about them all the time? Funny how Hoda is now doing the same thing.

Watching Savannah interview Bill Murray is why I dislike her as an interviewer. First, the focus on HER & her boots. 2nd, the story of HER eating at the golden globes. Who cares?

SanDiego, just because someone does not agree with you does not make them a Russian troll. That’s the 2nd time you’ve brought this up.

My opinion is that if KLG goes solo in the 4th hour with guest hosts, it’s because Hoda took over In the 1st hour, which was not foreseen, & it may be wearing her down doing both 1st & 4th hours, & she may want to spend more time with the baby also. I doubt there’s a feud.

Hoda acts the same way. It’s seems they either go out for dinner or have food delivered.

I wonder if NBC gets a cut of the book profits since they are spending air time promoting it. And maybe KLG didn’t agree to this for her wine, & that’s why they won’t let her talk about it on air.

I’m never going to read KLG’s book, but at least she put some time & thought into it. Unlike Hoda’s book, which was probably written in 10 min.

Hoda says “I used to think my job was the most important thing, but not anymore”. So why is she working MORE now that she has the baby? Kudos to her for getting Matt’s job. She should have bowed out of the KLG hour.

It didn’t seem to matter because NBC’s Olympics ratings were way down.

A 5 min segment on them returning from the Olympics. Al seemed to take it in stride, it was 2 weeks for Gods sake.
