Was it ever explained why no one in the FBI has gone looking for Kate? I would think that if an FBI agent suddenly went MIA (without a seemingly convincing/legitimate reason in the feds' opinion), that the feds would be suspicious and launch an extremely thorough investigation and be on an all out manhunt to locate her. I'm confused.

I just thought of something. What if this spoiler refers to the cop that was killed (the one whose garage had the infinity symbol on the wall)? The official promo implies that the upcoming death is an actual series regular though, so I'm baffled. To imply a series regular dies and then only killing a side character, would be pretty egregious. Talk about a bait and switch to get fans to tune in. Fans would be furious. Maybe a more central character does die in the midseason finale. I guess we'll soon see.

Emily still has at least one of those videos left (not sure if that is a continuity error on the writers' part since she tossed her laptop of evidence in the ocean). After Vic left Aiden's corpse on Emily's couch, Emily confronted Michelle Banks in her office with a laptop. Emily showed Dr. Banks one of the videos of little Amanda locked in the room screaming. That is what Emily used to compel Dr. Banks to assist in having Vic involuntarily committed in the mental hospital.

Her character was so dull to me, I almost forgot her too. She and Nolan never had chemistry, imo. However, Nolan seems to have great chemistry with the males he's been paired with and even those he hasn't been paired with (Jack and yacht club owner).

If David had been watching who he thought was Amanda for years, then why didn't he have pics of Emily too? Amanda and Emily were friends and hung out together. Amanda came to Emily's beach house frequently (the real Amanda's childhood home). Surely he'd have observed them both together. He would have also known that Jack and Emily were friends as well. Where are their pics together during David's stalking period? How is it that it took Jack to tell David about Emily's existence? Also, wouldn't he wonder why Emily lived in the beach house and not Amanda? Amanda never showed any anger or resentment towards Emily for Emily living there. Shouldn't his stalking have shown that Amanda was content with her life and had not been wronged by Nolan in any way? None of this makes sense!

I wondered if Emily downed that power line in advance, hoping Vic would try to escape when Emily confronted David.
