Just a thought. What if Dolphin Ashley refused to change her hair? We know how TPTB force WOC to wear weaves and wigs whether they want to or not. Again, just a thought.

Since everyone is defending their favorites, I have to say #TeamKat. No she isn't point or leader material, but she brings something to the squad - beauty, humor, unique personality, etc. There's a place for people like Kat on the team. She's a break from the cookie cutter DCC and I'm all for it.

Maybe she's really there for a quick vacation getaway.

Gina at point! Don't know if she's Point 1 or Point 2 for Thunderstruck, but at least everybody got their wish. By the way, is Thunderstruck still the DCC anthem? They've used it for a long time. I liked it better when they danced to a different song before each game, but I guess that's too much work for Judy.

At first I thought the Show Group had on the silver and navy while the rest had on the turquoise and royal, but I don't think Jensen is Show Group so who knows?

I don't think the comments are anti-white. I think they're anti-TPTB. There are those of us who believe the DCC purposely pick white girls because they're white more than they pick black girls because they're black. If your belief that race doesn't matter was put into action, the DCC squad would be more diverse...and not because of pressure from the fans, but because the black candidates are just as talented, upstanding, polished, etc as the white ones.

Remember when the official website posted pics of the auditions? They did so swiftly. I miss those days. They even let fans vote for their favorite TCC. If the show was live, they could let the fans vote for number 36. Imagine voting for either Lily or Meredith live while the ladies wait on the field for the votes to be tallied. That would be fun. But then Kelli wouldn't get to do her "look to the left, now look to the right".....oh never mind.

Some of them were a string between the butt cheeks over tights. Kat looks like the leotard slid up from dancing/jazzercising. Maybe there was more coverage before she started moving. We'll see.

I wouldn't be surprised to see a legacy sticker session with Meredith, Cassie and Victoria each picking their 36.

Brave, mature and unselfish sound like words someone used to describe her when she told them her decision, maybe her parents or the TPTB. Sounds like she repeated someone's praise for her. Just my take. Hope she's OK.

I just viewed her Insta. I see what you mean. She looks as good as a lot of the others.

Now it won't let me view it. Strange. According to the article she has been selected to audition. It's dated for today so I assume that means she made it through to finals. As far as her look, a makeover with a new hair color would work wonders.

I agree with all of this. I know I'm about to get blasted, but maybe Hannah did not need to be on DCC this year. Maybe she needed to collect herself. There are more important things than dancing on a platform. Perhaps the DCC did her a favor. She needs the love of her DCC sisters, but performing right now (or back then) may not be the best thing. I hope she is keeping in touch with whoever she was closest to on the squad and perhaps getting professional help as well. She looked well in the few photos I've seen of her. I'm sure she'll be fine.

I find both Sydney and Eartha Kitt beautiful. Different strokes, I guess. That being said, there aren't too many women who look as good as Janet Jackson. Miss Jackson if you're nasty.

Speaking of solos, I'm surprised there has been no mention of solos or show group auditions. Hopefully they're coming up.

Thank you. Every rookie WOC looks great so far. It's not like there's a shortage of white women on the squad. I hope every year is the year of the WOC from now on. A diverse squad is more interesting to me. Are we sure that isn't Chandi in the photo? Armani is great, but only Show Group women are included in stuff like that. Is Chandi in SG?

For those asking how to watch for free, the Pluto TV app DVRs the new season episodes a couple of days or so after they air. They automatically show up on my smart TV menu. I hope I worded that right.

This might not be a popular opinion but Kelli's tweet seemed heartfelt and compassionate. She is the voice of the DCC (whether we like it or not) so to me a tweet from her is a tweet from the organization.

The practice wear seems to flatten everybody. Attractive designs, but not flattering to the upper body at all.
