I hope it's Finn. It would be deliciously soapy (but not as soapy as The Gates! The promos insist the new soap will be soapier than any soap out there! 🙂 ). Last year's brief conversation between Finn and Poppy about spending time together during his college years, then Poppy became pregnant shortly after, seemed to hint that he is Luna's father.

Yes, Poppy snatching the box of donuts back made me laugh. I just like that the actress has ditched the wigs (at least for now). Her natural hair looks nice.

I wasn't going to watch this season because I dislike all-stars/"celebrity" seasons of reality shows... then I realized I only really know one person, Chrishell Stause, from soap operas (never seen her real estate show). I've listened to Bella and Dorinda's Sirius XM shows, and the rest are unknowns to me. So I'll partake! Also, the visuals, music, and of course, Alan, drew me in right away. Let's go!

The Daphne actress (Murielle Hillarie) really is a French actress, so the accent may be exaggerated, but it is real. I wonder if she stays on the show for a while if it will fade to a more American accent. I know this has been said, but Steffy's obsession with her parents getting together is so odd. She is what, mid-30? She would benefit from talking to a psychologist (not her mother!) about this. Though it is more about getting one up on the Logans than anything else, I think. If Ridge was going after someone with absolutely no connection to the Logans, would she be like this? Can anyone remember how she responded to Ridge and Denise Richards' character's relationship? Maybe she didn't care since Taylor was off screen/not an option?

I somehow missed or overlooked the news that Nathan Owens was cast on Y&R. I however did not miss or overlook the fact he is still very, very, good looking. (I know him as Cameron from Days, I believe during the Kate Mansi as Abby era?)

I have watched every second of this show* since I became a viewer back in 2009 (started watching for Lindsay Hartley- I was a huge Passions fan). But please remind me which married father of two Chanel slept with? I liked the recasting joke about the two Babes. I remember that All My Children scene (when one actress went in for a hug with her mom, and when the hug broke apart, it was a different actress), and I liked it! *except preemptions, of course

"The Last Text"-- how did Sam Woodward's lawyer not demand he cut his hair and shave before testifying? I feel very badly for Blaze's family, but his parents seemed to really, really, really love the camera.

Not the strongest/funniest episode for me, but I'm glad it's back. Grace Palmer on Instagram was extremely polarizing after the election, which was disappointing as a fan of hers, and I felt myself not enjoying Victoria as much. I immediately recognized the actress playing the TED Talk-er but had to look her up-- Lucy Punch, she's been in random shows I've watched over the years.

Verizon FIOS listed this week's episode descriptions with the generic "Families in Port Charles," which is interesting. They all appeared as new episodes (except for New Year's Eve, I think... the holiday week was such a blur!). Yes!! He's had that necklace for a while now, and it always distracts me.

I could have sworn all the Christmas decorations were down in the DiMera living room the day after Christmas, but then it looks like there is a tree decorated in the same NYE colors in the back left? Gotta say the DiMeras have good connections to get all those balloon pieces in just a of couple hours! Thought I knew the Amy Choi actress (Shi Ne Nielson) from another soap-- she was a detective on Y&R, but I don't think it was a big role.

is back! I loved this storyline, so I am in. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Gotta say this is why I love Days on Peacock-- new episodes every single weekday, even on holidays.

I didn't watch the Dana/David era of SNL (joined during the Ferrell/O'Teri/Shannon years) so this was my first real encounter with the Church Lady—though I know of the character. I really like Dana and am glad he's been featured a lot this season. As for David Spade, I’ve adored him since my college days of Just Shoot Me reruns. (David and Dana have a podcast together, right?) Was Trisha promoting something? I've only seen her once or twice in my Instragram reels scroll.

I LOVE Christmas decorations on soaps. I think Crimson Lights has a fun look, and I adore the mugs that come out every year. IDK what the colored box is behind the counter, but I want a closer look. I don't always love pinks and purples used in Christmas decor, but I think Society looks sharp. Looking forward to seeing the Abbott Manse lit up. It is always TOO MUCH, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I also love Claire's new hair color. I am in the boat that most women look more striking and beautiful with brown tones.
