Thank you for saying what I'm too emotional to say ... the RJ initiation push up yeah that what I'm calling it ... it was indeed everything! From the instructor motioning for Jack to join the other fathers, to Randall climbing onto Jack's back to Jack giving more than he was asked to give ... excuse me while I go and cry some more.

Just finished watching and the tears are flowing ... that's all I got for now.

But fat people can be famished. I speak from personal experience and I'm bigger than Tara.

You wrong for that LOL

Agreed. Even if Calvin will be mindful of those kids, it will still be hard in them and chances are they will feel abandoned by him. My niece and nephew, who are 10 and 8 now would cry and ask their mom why dad wasn't home or why he left (to go be with his mistress). Calvin's kids look to be pretty young too and like it or not in leaving his wife he's also leaving his children.

Regarding Miguel wanting to do Pilgrim Rick for the grandkids. I'm not seeing that, not in the it was all about the grandkids sense. Unless we find out the kids requested that he do it, I think it was mostly if not all about Miguel. He wanted to do it for his sake, not the kids'. They seemed perfectly happy with their uncle entertaining them and that should have been enough for Miguel if it was all about the kids.

Women are smarter than men. If Michonne was in charge, ASZ would still have some weapons somewhere.

You should see Roberta on Z Nation. She and her girls will give Tara and her girls a run for their money LOL Having binge watched season 1 over the holidays, I thought Oceanside was intentionally all female (Z Nation had such a group who expelled males when they turned 12). So Negan kills children too ... bastard.

I enjoyed this episode and liked the new group. I wonder if they will show up again. Please keep Rick's ass far far away from these ladies. Please!

I don't have a problem with the kids keeping the TG traditions. It's their thing and apparently they still love doing it. Why should they stop doing it and get something new because it may not be something I would keep up or because I think it's stupid/annoying?

And that isn't even redeeming. I must say that I am really surprised that Jack is still willing to spend Thanksgiving with Rebecca's family given how they treat Randall. Someone said they don't ever want to see grandma on screen. Me either because excluding Randall is down right vicious. I thought no one commenting on Randall's attitude after returning from Philly was strange. He's overhyper, then he's sullen and we see no one, not even Beth, askhim what's the matter? One of those doesn't ring true moments. I loved seeing Randall teasing Kevin about Olivia. It's good to know he told Randall about her and I loved seeing kid Randall and kid Kevin playing with each other.

My favorite comment so far LOL Someone upthread mentioned Kevin and Olivia being intimate because they had sex. Kevin and the widow were intimate. Kevin and Olivia were ... screwing. I really dislike Olivia and when William said Kevin adores her I emitted an anguished cry. I am with those who said NO to Miguel wearing the hat. Did this mofo even say he should get to wear it? Ugh!

Come on now. If Gabriel dies who's going to watch Judith? Her father, her brother? Or will Morgan be the next manny LOL
-
Exactly and I bet he'd turn Spencer over in a heartbeat LOL And what is it with CDB coming into other folks houses telling them how things are going to be? Sasha and Maggie I like y'all but you are more than welcomed to get to steppin'.

But we know Rick isn't above giving up people. He gave up Michonne in the hopes of pacifying the Governor and he did it even after Merle told him what the Governor would do to Michonne.

Negan is Negan's biggest fan so he has to put on a show for himself is my guess.

I wonder if Rebecca had added fear in that it could be possible for William to come back and have a good chance of getting Randall because he was adopted by a white family, sort of a Losing Isaiah situation. -

I'm not necessarily opposed to Beth giving Randall the truth, though I would prefer if she put more effort in convincing William to tell him. If that fails then sure tell Randall. This is an issue between Randall, his mom and bio father not Beth. It's for Randall to confront his mother not Beth. -

I'm not sure I want to see that because I don't think it's Beth's place to confront Rebecca. -

S01.E07: The Best Washing Machine in the World
GodsBeloved replied to ElectricBoogaloo's topic in This Is Us
Trying to quote and reply to @Jx223 is just not working for me LOL I don't disagree necessarily that Rebecca was trying to figure out what was best for both boys but I am lost as to why there was anything to figure out. It's 2am. Randall needs/wants to finish homework. Kevin wants/needs to go to sleep. Randall go to the kitchen and finish. Kevin go to sleep. If Rebecca wanted to dig into why they were in this situation, I think it would have been better to do that later, not at 2am on a school night when a quick and fair resolution was right there for the taking. -

I forgot to talk about the Kevin/Randall scene in the bedroom. I thought Randall was totally wrong and Rebecca's immediate response should have been tell Randall to go to the kitchen to finish his homework. It was 2AM and they were in the bedroom where one of the primary things you do is sleep. I can get that Randall may not have realized how inconsiderate he was being but Rebecca should have. Instead she takes Randall's side when his actions were dead wrong. Did anyone think Jack was sick? I did and with this in mind after rewatching, it felt even more like he was and the aging wasn't what made me feel this way. He looked and acted worn.- 337 replies
