It think it's really weird that Oliver and the kid didn't have a single moment together, and Oliver was standing back at SCPD like he didn't think he should say hello to the kid. William never acknowledged him. Since William was at least aware that Oliver existed and knew his mom, and had presumably been to visit him a few times, that doesn't make a whole lot of sense...but a lot of this stuff doesn't, so...whatever, I guess.

He meant that he wanted Samantha to trust him enough to allow William to be a part of his and Felicity's lives in Star City at some point.

I'm guessing that the EPs aren't ever planning on them having kids, so I won't be surprised if that's a discussion they never have.

IIRC, Caity Lotz answered a casting call for someone named "Lisa" when she auditioned for Sara Lance, presumably so that people who follow such things wouldn't get a heads-up that they were casting for Sara. So, the casting call name wasn't ever really anything to go by. This "Rebecca" could have a name we'd recognize by the comics, so they're hiding it. Or maybe they haven't decided on a name for her yet.

How do we know they're Quentin's flashbacks? Was there a spoiler out there? If it's just because of the pic he posted, he had that shitty hair in the flashbacks from S3 - they could be Laurel's from around that time.

Did "she left town" come out of his mouth, or "she's gone"?

If the wedding is a ploy, then maybe she busts in and breaks up the ceremony, then kidnaps Oliver and makes a getaway with him in the backseat of the limo where she yells that at him because she's bananapants crazy.

I think he meant the "all these years" as in the years between when Oliver and Samantha decided that she should move away with William, and William's 18th birthday, when he said that he asked Samantha to show him the video.

Well, the Laurel we've seen in a relationship with Oliver wouldn't have walked out on him. He was cheating on her and she wanted to marry him, so...there's precedent, haha.

I got the sense that the show didn't think he was wrong, and that the situation truly was impossible. Even Felicity said so, so I don't think there's any *side* to take here with the way they've written it. They did have her point out that Oliver is still keeping her in the dark about things even when he doesn't have to (like telling her about his decision about William - which I don't think she wanted a say in, just wanted knowledge of before it was over and done with, and for him to be open with her about his feelings so she could help him through it), so I think that's something that they're going to address and Oliver's going to work on to a probably unsatisfying conclusion, haha.
