  1. They have a live-in nanny. She appears to be with them now (or was at one point) because when Carina was oversharing about her life she tweeted that she was "quarantining" with 3 other adults and a child.
  2. Although I try not to poo-poo charity stuff and I guess it's better than doing absolutely nothing, the quarantine wine is rubbing me the wrong way, especially considering they have a discounted member price, which means less money going to charity and Nocking Point potentially getting a new member out of the proposition. AND since they're donating profits and not proceeds, so they could tack on some kind of overhead charge to pocket some of that money - not that we're likely to see how much they sold and how much they donated, which is another issue I have. Although I'll take that back if they actually do produce such a thing - but I won't hold my breath. Just...give your money directly to the charities, pls.
  3. Oh, yeah. I get that. Just from what they put out there I do think there's some passive-aggressive toxicity going on there, but it seems to go both ways and also seems to have been going on for years. I would argue that there's some enabling going on on her part if she's topping him up when he's already sloppy on a live feed, but no one put a gun to his head to make him drink it. He's making an ass of himself repeatedly all on his own - and even when confronted with it just makes jokes about it and keeps going, so...hopefully he doesn't come through with a career ender on one of these ill-advised lives.
  4. You keep putting this as a disclaimer in your posts, but I don't think anyone here blames her for his drunken messiness? Apart from her giving him more wine when he was clearly shitfaced a few days ago, lol. I mean, she's had her public asshole moments, and he definitely has - they seem well suited for each other that way. I hope that someone who cares about him is trying to get him some help, difficult as that may be since he seems to be...not very receptive to that, and that maybe that someone who cares about him can get through to him that he's not presenting himself in the best way here. All the ways in which he was too drunk to get home or an asshole on set because things didn't go his way, how much he hates having to do a little fan interaction to keep that movie they helped pay for and he keeps bragging about at #1 on Netflix, or how much WB pissed him off because they didn't submit to his whims are not stories that need to be told to everyone. I think he's taken the concept of being ~real a little too far and definitely needs to step away from these daily lives, unless they're the one thing that's keeping him somewhat okay, which judging by the way he's looking may very well be.
  5. If Stephen isn’t careful, he’s gonna get Cassandra’s automatic acceptance into WB’s director’s program revoked lol.
  6. Typically shitty comment by Stephen but a nice reply from Colin lol.
  7. Next he's gonna double fist Nocking Point's most recent collabs and go into excruciating detail about the night he lost his virginity. I guess now it makes sense why whenever he'd be doing Facebook lives on set the PA would so tentatively knock on his trailer door. Anyone working on his new show who happened to turn in must be very excited for filming!
  8. He has a home gym - he's done some Instagram lives where it was in the background. He's mentioned that his daughter takes tennis lessons, so he's probably playing with her.
  9. Given his usual cycle of repentance to belligerence when he does some dumb shit that people call him out on, he should be hosting a drunk Instagram party by Thursday at the latest.
  10. She also tweeted something about the earth needing a "reset," which...I'm sure that's comforting to the people who are going to be financially ruined by this, great take lol. Yeah, two BOTTLES of wine, maybe. No way two glasses of wine does anything to him at this point and if I'm being honest I doubt two bottles would make him that bad either, haha.
  11. I refuse to watch because my secondhand embarrassment meter is very sensitive, but I've read that Cassandra brought him more wine during this thing? Had he already lost the plot by that point? I would be mortified, but it seems like he doesn't think he has a problem. Hopefully someone who cares about him takes him aside and tries to get him some help. It seems like everything's going to be closed down for a while, and it'll probably only get worse the longer he has nothing concrete to do.
  12. I've only watched snippets of a few of his IG lives and in every one of them he mentioned either having Bailey's in his coffee or drinking hair of the dog (after their "responsible gathering," where he said he and Cassandra really tied one on the night before). As a licensed internet doctor, my completely professional opinion is that perhaps he's struggling with a bit of an alcohol problem that's spiraling because he no longer has a set schedule he needs to be functional for. These two seem to have a really weird passive-aggressive dynamic to their relationship. Like back when I first started watching Arrow and followed them both, he'd tweet about his gluten-free diet, then she'd tweet about how stupid and ineffective gluten-free diets are. He'd do an ice bucket challenge video, she'd tweet about how stupid the ice bucket challenge was. She'd publicly post about being excited for Coachella, he'd keep posting about how dumb it was (until he decided it wasn't that dumb after all - although I cannot be sad about this change in attitude because it led to his wife tweeting at Whoopi Goldberg that she doesn't have to take showers because they have a saltwater pool). Tonight he tweeted about her telling him that if he kept dancing a certain way, maybe he'd get his abs back. Him telling a story she didn't want told about Arrow suit nasty, him showing their daughter when she doesn't want it, etc seems pretty on brand for that relationship. As a licensed internet therapist, my completely professional opinion is that shit's weird over there but I guess it works for them? I come away from all of this just hoping that all of the wardrobe people wore PPE back in the day.
  13. It's really not that difficult to grasp that if anyone involved with this show or the network actually thought that killing E-1 Laurel was a mistake, they would've brought her back. Instead, they went out of their way to not bring her back despite having, like, 1,000 opportunities to do so.
  14. I do believe they went somewhere because Carina posted a pic of her and Steve in what looked like a golf cart, but if it really was a wedding I would be very surprised if that all went down in a parking lot. I could get not posting pics if they wanted to keep the news private, although I fully believe that they'd still post pics, just not with Aisha and Emmett in them. And even if the parking lot hang is a true detail of this story, it doesn't change the fact that Carina is lying her dumb ass off about Aisha and Emmett at least going back to the Amell house - and who knows if anyone else was there.
  15. Carina's excuses for this are the dumbest shit I've ever read. Her livestream with one of the Roswell cast members doesn't count as breaking quarantine because it happened in her own home (in New Mexico that she drove to after leaving the Amell's place, which she returned to after and counts it as one long ~quarantine) because she used a ton of hand sanitizer - did you sanitize your lungs too? The video Aisha posted of a streaming concert that looked like it was filmed at the Amell home was actually one Carina filmed and sent to her, like she couldn't take a video of her own since anyone could watch it from anywhere? At this point just admit that you and your friends are all dumbasses who don't care about rules instead of lying yourself into a pretzel to get out of people calling you out on being a dumbass. They will make any number of excuses to make what they're doing okay.
  16. Plus, didn't their friend Emmet say he took that picture of Stephen's ass that he posted on Instagram? Did he get a shot into their living room with a telephoto lens or what? What a bunch of irresponsible, lying trash lol. I don't care if any of them get sick at this point - I hope Stephen's asthmatic daughter and any other person unfortunate enough to come in contact with them stays well.
  17. My favorite part is that Carina keeps posting her days in quarantine despite the fact that she left the Amell home and went to New Mexico, had an in-person live Q&A on Instagram with one of the Roswell cast members, and then returned back to Palm Springs as if it was all quarantine time. And last night she posted a pic of her and Stephen in what looks like a golf cart on her way to the wedding or whatever and had the nerve to call it "Day 26." The absolute delusion. I really hope they don't wind up getting someone killed.
  18. Seriously. One of my coworkers has COVID-19 and her husband died from it a few days ago. She didn't get to say goodbye - once he went into ICU, that was the last she saw of him, and then she tested positive and has had to be in self-isolation while she's grieving. She can't have a funeral for him until some undetermined later date. Most of the Jar have shown their ass pretty regularly on social media but with stories like the ones we've been hearing from so many people making such huge sacrifices to keep others safe, when your whole freaking state is on lockdown, how do you then not only still hold this get-together, but even if you are willing to take that risk, POST about it?! They are all so spectacularly dumb and irresponsible. I know it's hard to stay home and not see your friends or to cancel/change things you've been looking forward to, but you've gotta!
  19. 1. We're going to be stuck inside forever because dumb fucking idiots like this who have the option of just staying inside because they don't HAVE to work outside their homes aren't capable of being uncomfortable and sacrificing for a little while. If there is a wedding (which...what? I had no idea they were still even together), either reschedule it like most other people did or find a creative way to do it via technology. Not ideal, but these are the times we're living in (or I guess everyone but them, since they don't seem to think any rules apply to them). 2. Can't wait for Carina to get dragged for this yet again and claim that she's being "monitored" despite choosing to post all this stuff that people can connect the dots and drag her for, lol.
  20. I'm perfectly happy to believe that Oliver did tell Felicity and that her surprise and the conversation on Lian Yu was simply at the sincerity of his "I love you," because it's nicer that way! But if she was in on the plan, it doesn't make any sense for Oliver to slip a syringe in her pocket in a room filled with cameras, LOL. And it doesn't make much sense that she'd mention the ILY since she would've assumed it was part of the scheme? BUT this is Arrow and they are clumsy like that, so I will write off the syringe thing as being done for the ease of the reveal and that she mentioned the ILY because deep down she knew he meant it.
  21. I loved Stephen in The New Girl and Hung, and he's great at comedy - but none of that was funny. And leading it off with him seemingly coaching a high school girl through some kind of (false?) sexual assault accusation isn't great! I'm pretty sure the friend who wrote this is the same guy who wrote another short that Cassandra directed that was too awful to sit through. This is kind of an improvement, so there's that?
  22. This was hard, mainly because some of these movies I wouldn't really call rom-coms, and some of the movies I really liked but voted against because I thought the love interest sucked (Always Be My Maybe, Crazy Rich Asians), and it hurt me to vote against The Holiday because while I know that movie is overall not great it has what I think is one of the most romantic scenes in it (and my other fave romantic scene is from Stranger Than Fiction, which wouldn't qualify in any way as a rom-com).
  23. Yes, he took a picture holding Mavi on a couch in their apartment in Vancouver and posted it on Insta a year or two ago - the woman he replied to moved into that same apartment and posted a pic of her husband holding their kid in a similar position on the same couch (I guess the apartment was furnished) and posted them side by side. I'm not sure what he took issue with, maybe that she reposted a pic he posted of Mavi?
  24. I did my normal weekly grocery shopping this morning and my store (which is a smaller one off of a back street kind of hidden away) had everything but toilet paper and chicken. I didn't have to wait in line or anything, but there were a TON of people out and about at that our (around 7AM), and all the other stores I passed were PACKED.
  25. I went to Wegmans today and the whole bean aisle was decimated. Canned beans, dried beans. Everything else was mostly okay, but no beans, like some people got it in their heads that they could toot away coronavirus. TP is scarce too - I guess maybe the bean people are stocking up.
