  1. Maybe MTV wants to see the consistency over the course of the whole season, but it seems the show has found a core audience of 800-900 thousand, which is a pretty good start. And now it's up to MTV to promote the show to bring it up if possible.
  2. To put it in perspective, Glee's season finale only drew an 0.6, with only about a million more viewers than Faking It. Again, I don't know what else MTV could possible be asking of the show
  3. Ratings stayed steady this week with a 0.4. Awkward got an 0.5, so Faking it is retaining a decent chunk of its lead in's audience and seems to have found a core viewiership in the 900,000 range. Don't know what else MTV could be looking for there. The show has earned a second season. And I'll give MTV the same free advice I gave them a few weeks ago. You employ a future superstar. Start turning her into one.
  4. Problem is, we just have to kind of take Amy's word for it regarding how great Karma is because we can't see the previous 12 years of their friendship. There is stuff they could do to make Karma more likable. A simple apology for getting Amy involved in this nonsense would be a good start As for Lauren, what's her prupose here? In the grand scheme of bullies/bitches on tv she is pretty tame.
  5. This show has to be shorter than even the typical 1/2 hour network sitcome. I don't think there is even 20 minutes of actual show. Amy's attempts at flirting were funny but the Karma/Laim B-plot was meh. I'm sorry, if his big family secret is that they're super rich but he just wants to be a tortured artist or hippie, that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Liam is the epitome of "first world problems" and Karma's continued infatuation with him makes less and less sense. Put Amy aside, the guy is a total bore and a whiny spoiled brat. As for Amy and Shane's convo, I think it's an interesting question of whether or not it's better to know for sure if she has a chance with Karma and take whatever risk that entails or just keeping it to herself and living with the pain. One thing I'll say is that the relationship she previously had with Karma is gone, even if she doesn't realize it. The kiss really did change everything. Amy is never going to see her the same way and thus their relationship has been irreparably changed.
  6. The season one trailer was definitely better because they figured out who the star of the show was. This isn't really an ensemble show. It has a main charachter (Amy) and she is charachter the show is, and needs to be built around
  7. I don't know how they are going to make that threesome thing seem believable at all, in terms of the charachters actually getting into that room. For as sexually curious/aggressive as Karma seems to be, I really wonder if she has any idea what a threesome actually is or what Liam (a sexually experienced guy) is expecting see and do once they get there. I mean, how does she even braoch that subject with Amy, who she thinks is just faking?
  8. Should be a pretty easy determination, lol. Shane shouldn't have to work too hard with one.
  9. The episode guide mentions that in Episode 7 Karna suggests a breakup with Amy. I'm wondering if maybe Amy doesn't get a little carried away during the threesome which freaks Karma out
  10. As a straight man, I can say that Amy is absolutely hot, regardless of what she's wearing and is about a million times hotter than Karma. If Amy is considered "butch" then sign me up
  11. The pace is definitely fast, but it had to be with such a short episode order. The ratings ticked up a it last night and it continues to basically hold Awkward's lead in. Can't see what else MTV could possibly ask for. They've earned another shot with at least 13 episodes.
  12. Karma needs to start getting redeemed. Right now she is really unlikable and a terrible friend, even if you give her a pass that she doesn't know Amy's real feelings. She treats her best friend like shit and ditched her at the first opportunity. Even if she doesn't mean to, she has no awareness. It's only 3 episodes and what the writers are doing to poor Amy is cruel. Her "I wish she was bi" was a heartbreaker. I did like how the school and it's inherent ridiculousness came to the forefront. There is definitely a Community/Greendale vibe there to be exploited.
  13. Karma doesn't seem to have an end game in mind here. Does she plan on secretly dating Liam for the next 3 years? I get that it happened pretty fast but she jumped in without looking. She's going to have to live with the consequences of the hoax, not the least of which is her unintentional but major infliction of emotional torture on her best friend
  14. It's still one girl in between two legitimate romantic options. As for Amy revealing her feelings, I imagine she will before the end of the season and the cliff hanger will be Karma considering the option.
  15. Doesn't Karma kind of have to develop feelings for Amy? You don't have much of a love triangle where one spoke has absolutely no chance. Particularly where that spoke has been presented as the obviously superior choice. It might not stick for Karma but I would bet she and Amy get together, if only do that Karna doesn't lose her.
