This show has to be shorter than even the typical 1/2 hour network sitcome. I don't think there is even 20 minutes of actual show.
Amy's attempts at flirting were funny but the Karma/Laim B-plot was meh. I'm sorry, if his big family secret is that they're super rich but he just wants to be a tortured artist or hippie, that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Liam is the epitome of "first world problems" and Karma's continued infatuation with him makes less and less sense. Put Amy aside, the guy is a total bore and a whiny spoiled brat.
As for Amy and Shane's convo, I think it's an interesting question of whether or not it's better to know for sure if she has a chance with Karma and take whatever risk that entails or just keeping it to herself and living with the pain.
One thing I'll say is that the relationship she previously had with Karma is gone, even if she doesn't realize it. The kiss really did change everything. Amy is never going to see her the same way and thus their relationship has been irreparably changed.
